King Adonis
I felt like a sore loser.
Well not necessarily a sore loser but Cloud had most definitely put things into perspective for me. Even though I desperately wanted to be bias and side with my mother in this situation, when you took a step back the situation was too complicated to pick sides.
If I looked at it from another person's point of view my mother in this was another version of Princess Anika. A woman who had been groomed her entire life to know she was going to marry a great man whether it was a King, a Prince or a great business leader.
She had been taught Royal protocols from an early age, taught to be a proper lady and activist. In a sense every fraction of my mother's life had been picked for her and she was lucky she was the first choice when my grandfather was looking for a bride for my father.
