I cradled Adonis's head in my arms as he pouted. Since our conversation last night he had been incredibly sad and I felt terrible for him. It was a shock for me that he willingly spoke about his parents to me.
Just trying to get Adonis to utter his mothers or fathers name was equivalent to prying a crocodiles mouth open.
Now it seemed everything had hit him at once but I was grateful he trusted me enough to show me this part of himself. I always knew him for being so strong and for once he was relying on me to get him through this.
"Do you want me to make you anything to eat?" I kissed his forehead.
He closed his eyes allowing his beautiful long eyelashes to tickle his cheeks slightly before he opened them again. "You."
"Adonis," I laughed as he innocently smiled. Even though he was sad he still joked about. "Sex isn't going to make you feel better."
