Today was the big day! The day of my knighting and I was both ecstatic yet highly nervous. It was a huge event for the entire country and I knew it was going to be broadcasted all over the world. I was nervous I would kneel wrong or simply trip and embarrass myself in front of the world, but Adonis assured me I would be perfectly fine.
He spent the entire week prepping me on how I would bow and how to act around him when he knighted me. I was never to fully look him in the eye or any of the other Royals. Some of the information was a lot to remember but this was what I had been working towards my whole life.
To finally be recognized as an international scientist meant the world to me and I knew no matter what happened this would always one of the best things to ever happen to me.
