I was in the passenger seat of Adriano's new toy, a dark blue Audi R8 he had been gushing over since the second he laid eyes on it. He was a giant to be driving such small cars but I figured his car collection gave him a peace of mind from his job.
He had been complaining about the office so much lately that I wondered if he really enjoyed being the director of his management team for the mining company he worked for. He assured me he was just drained and he would probably snap out of it.
"Do you want to have a movie night tonight? We can order whatever food you want," I offered as he parked in our building's underground parking.
"Please. Gino is no fun, well he is but he debates the realism of the movie. You'd think he was the scientist and not you," he rolled his eyes as we climbed out. "Maybe we can head out in an hour or two to go raid the city for food?"
