"Do you ever not want to prosecute people? Like for example what if they're a good person but they just messed up once. Does it affect you?" I placed my hands under my chin and rested my head on them as I looked up to Adonis.
He looked a tad bit tired but gave me a thoughtful look before pursing his lips, "Sometimes, but as King sometimes you have to be a bad guy. I never want to be labelled as someone to be feared but if I was everyone's friend where would I be."
"I think you're very strong for doing that. I'm always feisty but I just get hurt so easily that if I had to rule a country it would be in ruins," I chuckled.
He laughed under me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "I think if you were a ruler you'd be like my mother. She was too kind for her own good and if it wasn't for my father she wouldn't have overcome that."
