Hela and Astrud flew over to the Island with excitement bubbling in their chest. From this high up Hela could see how big the Island was. It was covered in lush green forest undisturbed by humans, with 3 tall mountains spread out in a curve at the center of the Island, 3 rivers streaming down them and pouring into a massive lake. It was breathtaking.
Hela wondered if she would be able to learn the magic used to hide such an Island. Her mind already thinking of how useful it would be. She's taken out of her thoughts when she feels like they passed through a thin layer of water.
"Did you guys feel that?"
"Feel what?" Astrid asks looking around cautiously, She and Stormfly come to a stop next to the two.
"We just passed through a magic barrier," Hela informs her, "I guess that is how this Island is invisible to others,"
They flew down and landed on a beach that was nestled between towering cliffs and lush greenery. Its sands were as soft as silk, shimmering under the golden rays of the sun. The water, a mesmerizing shade of turquoise, danced with the gentle breeze, inviting all who beheld it to dive into its enchanting depths.
"This place is beautiful," Astrid comments.
Hela hums in agreement as she looks over the water a slight ripple catches in the corner of her eye and she turns to get a better look. She catches blue scales and a snake-like body moving below the surface of the water.
"Did you see something?" Astrid asks seeing her distracted.
But before Hela can answer something jumps out of the water. Startled they all take a defensive stance before relaxing slightly seeing that it's a dragon and one they never saw before.
The dragon lands on the beach and Hela realizes it was what she saw. (Picture in chapter comment)
"I've been expecting you, Your Highness," The Dragon bows.
"Raise your head," She tells him as she relaxes completely the others doing the same.
"It is an honor to finally meet you, Queen Hela, I am Aquarius the Guardian of this Island,"
"How do you know my name?" Hela asks taken aback.
Aquarius smiled at her although on a dragons face it looked like a snarl, "From Troels," Seeing the shocked look on Troels face he explained further, "We guardians are connected and since your Queensguard introduced himself to Toren while giving your name,"
Hela nods understanding that every Guardian out there knows her name by now. She then turns to Troels, who looks away from her, with an amused look in her eye, "You gave yourself quite the important role there,"
"I don't know what you're talking about," Troels says refusing to meet her eyes.
Hela chuckles, "Sure you don't,"
"What did he do?" Astrid asks curious.
Hela chuckles, "He gave himself the role of my Queensguard which is quite adorable,"
"Someone wanted to feel important," Stormfly teases.
Troels groans embarrassed, "Can we please get past that now, please?"
"For now," Hela tells him. She turns back to Aquarius, "So Aquarius did the former queen leave you something for me?"
"Yes, she did," He says before diving back into the water. A few minutes later he re-surfaced carrying something in his mouth. Hela walks towards him hand outstretched. He drops it in her hand. (Picture in chapter comment)
She inspects the smooth blue gem with a red glow in the middle, "What is it?"
"I'm not sure. All she told me was that you'll know when to use it," Aquarius tells her.
"Cryptic but okay," She walks over to Troels and puts the stone in her saddle bag. "anything else,"
"Maybe you can find something in her cave. It's at the bottom of the middle mountain, behind the waterfall," Aquarius tells them.
"Thank you," Hela says. Aquarius nods and goes back to the water.
"So what now?" Astrid asks her.
She hops on Troels"We are going to Saphira's cave,"
Meanwhile Back at Berk
Hiccup and the riders are at the arena with a new Dragon and no toothless.
"You did the right thing with Toothless. He'll snap out of it," Dawn tells him. She puts a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Ya, but what if he doesn't?" Snotlout asks, "Then you won't have a dragon to ride, and if you don't have a Dragon to ride then you can't be the leader of the Dragon Academy! HA!"
Dawn glares at him, "Yeah, then Hela will take over. Do you really want that?"
The twins arrive on barf and belch excitement evident on their faces.
"You guys would not believe what we just saw," Tuffnut says.
"Excuse me, we're having a power struggle," Snotlout tells him.
"We're not having a power struggle," Hiccup denies urging the twins to continue.
"The whole forest. Ultimate destruction," Tuffnut explains.
Ruffnut nods, "It was beautiful. The whole thing was torched,"
"Torched?" Hiccup asks. His mind raced with how Toothless had been acting since he found the small dragon in his arms, "Show me,"
The gang follows the twins to the forest. They fly over a path of broken trees like something big walked through them before they come to a clearing with a big spiral burn mark in the middle.
"Like we said; ultimate destruction," Ruffnut says.
"We've seen that burn mark before," Hiccup speaks out.
"Not this big," Dawn clarifies.
"You know what this means," Fishlegs says worried, "Big burn mark--"
Hiccup looks up and sees--"Big Typhoomarang,"
The big dragon flies in a circle distressed and angry, breathing flames into the air.
"He looks really mad," Tuffnut deducts.
"Uh, it's not a he, it's a she," Hiccup corrects him, "That's Tourch's mother,"
Dawn's eyes widen, "Torch is a baby,"
"That's what Toothless was trying to tell me," Hiccuprealizes
Fishlegs looks at Torch who is in his arms, "Whoever gets between that mother and this baby is gonna get fried!"He passes Torch to Tuffnut.
"You take it!" Tuffnut passes Torch to Ruffnut.
"I don't want it!" Ruffnut passes Torch to Snotlout.
"Just leave it, and let's get out of here," Snotlout says as he passes Torch to Hiccup.
Torch makes a sound that catches the adult Typhoomarang's attention. Its head snaps in the gang's direction and locks eyes with Hiccup holding its baby.
'Why did this have to happen when you are not here sis'

"Well that was a little disappointing," Astrid says as they fly out of the cave, "All we found in there are these two short swords," (Picture in chapter comment)
"The craftsmanship of these swords is just wonderful!" Hela says as she examines them, "They're perfectly balanced and the material," She gently bits the blade, "It's Dragon scales plus they are as light as a feather,"
Astrid looks at her confused, "How can you tell what its made of from just biting it,"
"Because they feel like my scales anyways they also have some magic in them," She flies Troels close to Astrid and Stormfly passing the swords to her.
Astrid looks them over before looking back at Hela, "What do you want me to do with them?"
Hela shrugs, "You can have them,"
Astrid gives her a look, "You know my weapon of choice is an axe right,"
Hela smiles as she sees the swords glow dimly as the handle elongates slightly followed by the blades change, "look at them again,"
Confused she looks down, "What the- How?"
"I told you they had magic in them," Hela says the smile never leaving her face, "I can't wait for when I can make a weapon like that. I got so many ideas,"
Astrid shakes her head amused, "I'm not gonna see her for weeks when we get back to Berk am I Stormfly?"
Stofly makes a noise of agreement as they fly away from the Island and head for Berk.
