The battle was over. Glenn did not move for a few seconds to make sure that Valentine was really defeated. He gulped and awaited for any movement.
"It's done?" Gina whispered, slowly turning towards Glenn who had a wide grin on his face. "Glenn, it's done!"
"We defeated Valentine," Glenn said. "We actually did it!"
The group celebrated their victory. It seemed impossible, but they have done it. Valentine absorbed the powers of seven Dark Generals, yet they managed to defeat him.
"We're lucky he sucked at using their powers," Merlin sighed. "Seraph's power alone was enough to wipe us out."
"Oh, you have met them," Glenn said. "Were they really that powerful?"
"More than you could ever think," Shiva said. "The last three Generals have powers that far exceeded us all. Any one of them could wipe us out."
Glenn was silent. After all the improvements they achieved, they were still too far from the power of the Dark Lord. "So, he's really that strong huh?"
