"Heavy Strike!" John spun and tried to pierce his blade with a swan that he hir earlier. The swan yelled and slammed John away with its wings, letting out several feathers as it did.
"It protects itself well," Glenn said. "High level intelligence for such a massive creature. This is dangerous."
"Glenn you know too well that this isn't something that a fake Merlin could do," Gina said. "The crystal swan, the cage, all of these. It's not something that he's capable of. That fake Merlin we know could barely fight when we faced him."
Glenn let out a long breathe of relief. "I thought that I was the only one who noticed. This is odd. The Merlin and this one. Why can he do it?"
"The book that Veronica had," Gina said. "I bet it's the same person who did it. He deliberately altered the events by handing out manuals for characters. He is altering the plot as we know it. Who knows what he has planted?"
