Valentine laughed as he saw the shock and surprise on his enemies' faces. They did not expect this from him, that's what he thought.
"Finally," Glenn chuckled. "Bingo, Valentine."
"What–"
Valentine was not able to finish when Glenn raised his hand. Thee Tree of Life grew larger and brighter, showing off much more radiance than before.
Attacks were launched from all directions, all targeting Valentine. The man grit his teeth and vanished from where he stood. He reappeared above them, conjuring a giant ball of darkness and immediately fired it at the group.
"Him!" Glenn yelled. "Can you absorb that?"
"It's too much," Him said. "If the size would be reduced by half, I can easily devour it."
"Then say no more!" Anthony yelled. He took a deep breath and fired a similar ball, firing at the bigger one. "I have been having this problem since before. I can't seem to copy Valentine's skills. This one, I can but the rest I cannot."
