After Group A's win, Horu knew that he wouldn't be able to win against Nazo in a 1v1 match. But now, he would have to focus on the test up ahead. It was Herena Seller and Goel Niyan going up against them. He had never really seen these two in combat so he kept his guard up.
Dighan officiated the match, and the two teams went at it. Leeron flee up into the sky to provide Horu with some long range support which completely shocked Dighan because Long rangers weren't supposed to be in his class. Horu went in for battle but avoided Herena. Herena noticed this so she decided to leave him be. So, it was Herena vs Leeron and Horu vs Goel. Goel was a martial arts expert who always tried his best to push himself to the limit to become stronger but same could be said for Horu. The two fighters seemed evenly matched and it seemed as if they were having fun whilst fighting.
On the other side of things, Herena was also both a lot range and short range fighter. She could manipulate and create water and shoot it out as a long range weapon and was extremely skilled at hand to hand combat. Leeron flew down to meet Herena and said.
Leeron: Uhh.. I don't like fighting girls.
Everyone then stopped whatever they were doing and shouted, "HUH!?!?"
Leeron: Sometimes they're just too weak
This really enraged Herena because it felt as if she was being looked down upon. She went at Leeron at full speed and delivered a devastating kick to Leeron's face. Leeron then suited up and tried to fight against Herena. He was clearly faster and stronger than her so he restricted himself from using too much power. But Herena still knew that he wasn't going all out at her so she used her water manipulation abilities to attack Leeron in hopes that the water would mess up Leeron's suit functions. But, the only thing that Herena did was mess things up, by attacking the suit with water, it messed with Leeron's mind therefore changing him from the introverted happy boy he was to a raging demonic cyborg. Instead of the normal blue colour of his suit, it changed to a bright red. Leeron then stood up and things were about to go down.
Herena thought that this form would actually respect her and make him go all out, but as we learned in the previous chapter, don't make Leeron angry. When enraged Leeron got up he saw the closest person as a threat but didn't go by that alone, he scanned Herena and checked her emotions and it was to his suspicion, she was his opponent.
He went straight for Herena without holding back at full speed and full strength. Herena had no time to dodge so she was taken down by Leeron. He started to pummel away at Herena but she was smart enough to put up layers of water shield before Leeron started to pummel away. In just 1 hit, the layers of the water shield instantly broke. And for comparison, just one layer of the water shield was capable to defend against 2 large continent level attacks and she put up 23 of them in 2 seconds. Horu then knocked Goel back with a punch and looked back at Leeron. He could sense the rage within him and saw that his power grew from tri-planetary level to almost being solar system level.
Horu was proud of his brother for growing to such an extent in such a shirt amount of time and didn't really worry at all but when he saw Herena lying on the ground, with her face filled to the brim with rage it reminded him of his childhood and how he saw the fear within Racha's eyes before she fell into the lake.
And before Leeron's punch could connect, Horu intercepted and held his hand before it hit Herena on the ground. When Leeron looked up he didn't even realize his own brother. Horu's eyes were completely white and his hair was floating, his aura had completely changed and when Leeron analysed him, he found out that he was using 20% of the god Zeus' power. Leeron was still conscious when he was attacking Herena but when he saw that his brother had surpassed him in power it infuriated him. Leeron went back and it seemed as if he was loosing control over the suit's power. This pushed him to lose conscious and the suit's rage completely took over him.
Dighan was still watching from the sidelines and noticed that the two boys weren't your normal average planet busting heroes and that they continued to grow stronger with each attack. This piqued Dighan's interests because it reminded him of himself. And also, I completely lied when I said Dighan was using 80% of his power, he was using just 5.
Now, Leeron was still in there and didn't want to fight Horu so he looked at the completely scared Herena and flew right at her. But, Horu caught Leeron's two fists before they could cause any trouble. Herena stood behind Horu and as she looked up at him, he turned his head and smiled. This reassured Herena that she wouldn't get hurt. But, Leeron wasn't done yet, he broke free of Horu's grasp and headed straight for Herena. Instinctively, Horu threw Herena into the sky and dealt with Leeron. The two brothers were moving so fast, time seemed to have slowed down and that was because they were moving at the speed of light. Horu barely dodged Leeron's punches and attack beams but came up with an idea almost instantly. When Leeron flew up to Horu he decided to use a lightning bolt to jam Leeron's brain once again in order to bring him back to normal. So when Leeron was right infront Horu, he generated a beam powerful enough to completely destroy the earth and hit Horu with it.
But, Horu's plan also worked before Leeron could land the hit on him. Even though Horu nearly died, he still managed to save his little brother without harming him. Leeron came confused and didn't know what was happening,and so, time sped up again and Herena fell right on Leeron. Herena saw Horu lying on the ground, greatly injured and she ran to take a look at him. She healed his wounds with her water manipulation with also had healing properties and the first thing Horu saw was Herena.
But Leeron, being the loving brother he is, ran to his big brother and completely threw Herena away. Leeron looked back at Herena and laughed. Herena started to shout at Leeron and everyone laughed. Meanwhile, Goel was still standing there, waiting for his fight to continue.
Writer's note: The power scaling in this world is very confusing, you might be wondering why the world hasn't been destroyed if there are that many planet busters and the answer is 'gravity'. The gravity in this world is 70 times more than on real earth, therefore suppressing the crazy amounts of energy these monsters hold. So technically if Horu were to be on our earth he would be wayy above solar system level.
And the gravity in 'some' other planets is just ABSURD!!!!.
