Locafustrous was beginning to get annoyed. The spells he cast went from hex to debuff to straight-up offensive strikes. Explosions and beams spread throughout the tree, the challengers who were nearby watched the rampage of the angry sorcerer.
Neither of the watchers backed away nor did they try to stop Locafustrous from attacking. But none of them speak and simply watched, when an attack reach their area, they'd simply defend or dodge it but all else, they were keen to see the results of the fight.
"Who do you think will win?"
"Probably that magic man, his attacks are enough to destroy an entire continent if you compare it to our worlds, that guy on the other doesn't seem to be affected but he's not trying to attack."
"That guy has an outstanding defense but his Mana output is shabby, even my low-rank soldiers back in my world have a higher Mana output than him. If his goal is to try and let that magician waste as much Mana as he can then he'd lose, it would probably take years for the magician to lose all his Mana."
"Agreed, how about you Sword God? Who do you think will win?"
The Sword God that the challenger was talking about was the elf swordsman floating in the air. The Sword God had a goatee similar to Tony Stark a blue hair similar to a Saiyan, a silk white and green clothing distinguishable from ancient times a sharp nose, pointy ears, and gold eyes. His white flourished sword was floating around him like a protective orb.
When the challenger asked the Sword God, he simply pointed at Xerel and spoke.
"Him."
"Woah? How do you know?"
"Watch."
Just as the Sword God spoke, Xerel was getting infuriated by the constant flash of lights that irritated his eyes.
"Can you just stop that and listen!?"
Xerel flew up and chased Locafustrous, he grabbed him by the neck but the sorcerer was able to freely escape using an astral body as he flew from his grasp like a ghost.
"You dare touch the most powerful mage in the world? You have a death wish! [Meteor Star]"
Dududduududududgdudgugud
A giant meteor appeared in the sky, it was the size of an entire city and if it was to fall on Earth, it would simply be the end of the world. It blanketed the entire area as everybody's gaze averted from the giant rock in the sky falling in rapid speed. Their calm face changed into awe and shock as they immediately tried to defend themselves from the incoming meteorite.
"Holy shit! If that crashes, this place is gonna turn into a wasteland!"
"Somebody stop that madman before he could damage this sacred tree!"
The challengers started to cast defensive barriers to block the giant meteorite from falling to the tree but before they could try and cast, Estophel appeared out of nowhere and stopped them.
"It's fine, the tree cannot be damaged from the outside perimeter even if this entire world explodes, the tree will still live on."
"But we'll die! What's the whole point of that?"
"Let's listen to him and watch."
The Sword God said as he calmed down the Challenger. Everybody watched in doubt as to what will happen. Estophel stared at Xerel with sparkling eyes as a grin etched on his face.
"That human has grown to such extent in such a short time, no wonder all elements coexist with him."
Xerel stared at the incoming meteorite with cold eyes. As he raise his right hand, a magic circle showed up on his wrist and a spherical orb appeared in his palm. Locafustrous laughed at the sight of the spell that Xerel was attempting to cast as he spoke laughingly.
"Puhahahat! Do you think a measly spell like that could stop this meteor from falling? Guess what? I'm the only one capable of stopping it!"
"You guessed wrong."
"What?"
As soon as Locafustrous asked. Xerel twist his hand counterclockwise and the spherical orb on his palm spread out and covered the entire meteor.
Swoooooop!
The entire meteor was sucked by the orb and shrank into a grain of sand as it disappeared. Just like that, the radiance of the sun covered the area again as those who watch had either their eyes widened or popped out of their sockets, their jaws dropped on the floor or simply too stunned to speak.
"Holy....shit!"
"Man just wiped an Armageddon out of existence! He doesn't even look fazed at what he just did!"
"And here I thought I was strong..."
"Fuck! Another obstacle!"
"Hahaha! He is worthy to be my rival!"
"What an interesting kid."
"Let's see how far this young man can go up in the tree."
"Another God to defeat..."
"He's going to be a reliable ally."
In front of so many powerful beings, what Xerel showed was enough to impress them that they see him as a god-like entity. Many wish to befriend him and many despise him. One thing that connects them all was that he was an opponent not to be messed with.
"H-how did you do that?"
Locafustrous was dumbstruck as he stared at Xerel in disbelief. Xerel stared at Locafustrous menacingly as he pulled out a frog in his pocket and showed it to him.
"Return him to normal."
"You're still with that? Don't worry man, that effect will disappear in a day, even if I have the power to change someone, I don't have the power to remove a hex. Disrupting the flow of Mana is currently impossible for me."
Locafustrous shrugged his shoulders and didn't want to fight Xerel anymore after what he had done. He simply descended the ground and rested on an area away from the previous one he rested to show that he showed no harm anymore.
'Disruption of Mana, doesn't [Mana Manipulation] have that effect?'
Xerel wanted to try out if the skill could work and as he activate the skill, he could see the world from a different perspective. He observe the Mana around Thorfinn(frog) and could see thick strings of seals that had wrapped around his body which shows the effect of the hex.
' I'm no expert to Mana but I can assume that these strings that tied Thorfinn are the mana that turned him into a frog. What would happen if I cut them using my Mana?'
Xerel spread out some Mana in his fingertips as he formed it into a sharp blads. He precisely aimed at the strings without trying to harm Thorfinn.
"I told you, it's useless, just wait for the effect to disappear."
Locafustrous spoke using a transmission spell that could reach Xerel's head.
"We don't know until I've tried."
"Trust me, you'll just kill him if you do that."
Xerel stopped his attempt at cutting the strings after he heard Locafustrous words. Even if he was talking to an enemy, it was definite that he would listen to the words of a person that's a literal master of Mana but he still tried another away.
'If cutting the seals will not work how about we absorb the seals since it's literally composed of Mana. I'm not gonna turn to a frog since I have the Invulnerability effect that makes all debuffs useless. Maybe that will work.'
Xerel started absorbing the seal's Mana and as Locafustrous watched the process using a spatial eye, his eyebrow rose in interest.
'Oh?'
He continued to observe what he was doing while on the other hand, window panels appeared in Xerel's view as he started to absorb the seals.

[+1767 MP]
.
.
The seal's Mana was starting to fill up his own Mana points and started to disperse one by one. Xerel couldn't believe that it had worked even Locafustrous was stunned as he quickly teleported in front of Xerel as he keenly watch the process with his own eyes.
"That's actually working."
"Shit! You scared me!"
"Continue."
The sudden appearance of Locafustrous briefly made Xerel stop the process as he returned to absorbing the seal's Mana after seeing that he simply wanted to watch.
Both were keenly focused on the process. Locafustrous summoned a rock and turned it into a frog as he started mimicking Xerel's process. While doing it, he turned into a frog then back to normal then frog again, and vice versa while Xerel, on the other hand, was completely normal.
The seals were slowly thinning out until they disappeared one by one. Xerel's mana had been full from the process yet he was still halfway through since each seal had the high output of Mana.
He didn't want to waste the Mana being stored in his body so he used the excess Mana and started forming weapons with it which started horribly as he couldn't even control the formation of the Mana and steadily improve as time goes.
Locafustrous on the other hand was observing Xerel and couldn't help but be impressed by him.
' His Mana core doesn't even have circles in it yet he's capable in multitasking with his Mana and being able to do that, you have to be on the level of an Arch Wizard. He focused himself on physical combat when he has such a great gift for Mana control, he's wasting his potential that I can't help but make him my student.'
Xerel was on his final string and he was now able to conjure a clearer form of Mana sword but the sword was still far from being detailed and sharp for it to be used on practical combat but it was still satisfactory considering that he was improving in a rapid rate.
"And done!"
Wooosh!
After all the seals had been removed, Thorfinn(frog) floated up in the air and glowed in white light. He started morphing into a humanoid form and returned to his normal state.
"You bitch! I'm gonna kill you!"
"[Absolute Cube]"
Thorfinn was quickly encased in a glass cube after he tried to attack Locafustrous. He thrash around angrily to try and break the glass but it didn't work but he still persistently try and break it.
"Get me out of here you feeble wizard! Fight me like a real man!"
He continued to bash around the cube but Locafustrous didn't care much as he look at Xerel with sparkling eyes.
'To think he has the same skill as mine! As expected of a Sorcerer Supreme, his abilities are nothing to be scoffed at. His Mana wasnt even drained!'
Xerel said in awe as he watched the cube with wide eyes.
"You! What's your name?"
"I-its Xerel."
"In my language, Xerel stands for "Great Effort"."
"Really!?"
"No, I just made that up."
"Oh..."
"However! Xerel, become my student!"
"What?"
