Bellamy grinned as he felt changes happening throughout his body after stealing this ship. "Hyenas! Get your asses up here and let's go be the best damn pirates around!" Bellamy, Captain of the Hyena Pirates shouted.
"Let's get this party started." Sarquiss, First Mate of the Hyena Pirates, leaped up.
"You got it Boss." Eddy, the navigator, chuckled.
"This better be worth it, my skills aren't cheap." Muret, the ship's doctor, showed a small grin.
"We could've handled those small fries, Boss." Rivers, the sniper, hopped up on to the ship with his rocket launcher.
"It would've been a piece of cake!" Mani, a combatant, agreed.
And so, the Hyena Pirates set sail from their peaceful town, Notice. To start a life of piracy and live a fun life worth living! The Hyena Pirates' newfound vessel was a medium-sized galley, once a merchant ship before falling into unfortunate hands. Its hull, a weathered oak, bore the scars of countless voyages and minor repairs. The sails, once a crisp white, were now patched and stained with the grime of the sea. The ship was in serviceable condition, but it would require some tender loving care to reach its full potential.
Despite its rough appearance, the galley possessed a certain charm. It had a spacious deck, ideal for a crew eager for adventure. Below deck, the quarters were cramped but sufficient for the Hyena Pirates' needs. The ship's hold was empty, a clean slate for the treasures they hoped to accumulate. While not the fastest or most heavily armed ship on the sea, it was a reliable vessel that could carry the Hyena Pirates to new horizons. With a skilled crew and a bit of luck, they could transform it into a fearsome pirate ship.
Sarquiss, the First Mate, leaned casually against the ship's railing, wiping the blood from his katana. He glanced over at Bellamy, who was still standing at the prow, grinning like a madman. "So, Bellamy," Sarquiss called out, his voice tinged with amusement, "where to next? You got any grand plans for this little adventure of ours?"
Bellamy turned, his eyes alight with the thrill of battle and the promise of more to come. "Plans? We're gonna take this sea by storm, Sarquiss! Treasure, power, respect—we're gonna have it all. And anyone who gets in our way... will be torn apart!"
Eddy, the navigator, chuckled from his spot near the helm, where he was adjusting the sails to catch the wind just right. "You know, Boss, with me steering this piece of junk, we'll be able to get anywhere we need. Just point me in the right direction, and I'll get us there eventually."
Muret, the ship's doctor, was leaning against the main mast, her arms crossed as she watched the exchange with a small, knowing smile. "Just make sure it's worth the effort, Captain," she said, her voice soft but firm. Bellamy flashed her a grin. "Don't worry, Muret. You'll get your share—same as everyone else. Besides, you know how much fun it is when things get messy." Rivers, the sniper, was perched on a barrel, carefully inspecting his rocket launcher as if it were the most precious thing in the world. He snorted, not looking up from his work. "Messy's fine, but we could've handled those small fries without breaking a sweat. I'm more interested in seeing what happens when we run into some real competition. That's when things get interesting."
Mani, one of the combatants, nodded vigorously in agreement, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "Yeah! Let's find some real fighters out there—someone who can put up a decent challenge!" Sarquiss smirked, sheathing his blade as he joined the others near the center of the deck. "Well, as long as we're all having fun, I'm in."
Bellamy's grin widened as he looked over his crew, feeling a surge of excitement. This was his crew—the Hyena Pirates—each one as fierce and unpredictable as the seas they sailed. "That's right, Sarquiss. We're gonna carve our names into this world, and nothing's gonna stop us. Not the Marines, not other pirates, not even the Four Emperors. We'll take what's ours and leave the rest in the dead and buried."
The crew exchanged looks, a mix of excitement, determination, and a shared understanding that this was just the beginning. As the sun began to set on the horizon, casting a golden glow over the sea, the Hyena Pirates sailed on, their laughter and bold declarations echoing across the waves. The open sea stretched out before them, filled with endless possibilities, and they were more than ready to seize every one.
…
The Hyena Pirates had been sailing for a few days, their newfound ship cutting steadily through the waves under Eddy's watchful eye. The excitement of their departure from Notice was still fresh, and the crew's energy was infectious. Bellamy stood at the helm, his eyes scanning the horizon, eager for a target—a worthy opponent, a treasure-filled island, or even a hapless cruise ship. Their first adventure began one early morning when Eddy, the navigator, spotted a speck on the horizon. "Bellamy! There's a ship ahead!" he called out, adjusting his binoculars to get a better look.
Bellamy's grin widened, and he turned to his crew with a loud cackle. "Looks like we've got ourselves some fat juicy meat, hyenas!" The crew sprang into action, each member moving with practiced ease. Sarquiss, his katana glinting in the morning light, began daydreaming about the luxurious spoils that'll be present on the ship. Rivers perched himself on the crow's nest, rocket launcher slung over his shoulder, his sharp eyes never leaving the approaching ship. Muret simply smiled at the fat sheep on the horizon, a confident smirk on her lips, while Mani eagerly flexed her fists, ready for a fight.
As they drew closer, the details of the target ship became clear—it was a large luxury cruise, filled with rich patrons and likely guarded by only a handful of guards. The cruise ship's crew had noticed them, and panic was already spreading across their deck. Bellamy could practically smell their fear. Eddy expertly maneuvered their ship into position, cutting off any chance of escape. "We're in range, Captain!" he called out. Bellamy laughed, the sound loud and wild over the waves. His grin turned feral. "Board them! Show them what happens when they cross the Hyena Pirates!"
With that, Sarquiss and Mani leaped across the gap between the ships, their weapons drawn. The merchant ship's guards rushed to meet them, but they were no match for the Hyena Pirates. Sarquiss moved with deadly precision, his katana slicing through the air as if it were a part of him, while Mani's kicking skills aided her in defeating the guards. Back on the Hyena Pirates' ship, Rivers watched the battle unfold through the scope of his rocket launcher, waiting for the perfect moment. When one of the guards tried to ambush Mani from behind, Rivers fired, sending the man flying off the deck and into the sea. Mani angrily waved her fist at him covered in soot.
Bellamy, not one to be left out of the fun, launched himself into the air with a mighty leap, his legs transforming into powerful springs. The air whistled past him as he ascended, and with a grin, he scanned the chaos below. The wealthy passengers screamed and scattered like ants, but one caught his eye—a portly man bedecked in jewels and fine silks, standing frozen in terror. Bellamy's grin widened. With a flick of his legs, he propelled himself downward, descending like a meteor. The moment his feet touched the deck, he released the stored energy in his legs, launching himself forward at blinding speed. His fist, coiled back and ready, connected with the wealthy passenger with a resounding crack, sending shockwaves through the air. The force of the blow was so immense that it punched a gaping hole through the man's torso, his body crumpling to the floor in a heap.
Blood splattered across Bellamy's face, but he only laughed as he returned to his original form, shaking the gore from his knuckles. He couldn't help but smile as he looked at the shiny trinkets on the fat ass. Oh, this was going to be a very big win for the Hyena Pirates if a single passenger was that loaded. Before Bellamy could revel in his handiwork, a squad of guards surged toward him, weapons drawn and faces twisted in determination. The first guard swung a sword at him, but Bellamy merely smirked, dodging the blade with a casual sidestep. He swiped the guard's leg, sending him falling to the ground before following up with a smashing stomp on the back of his skull that left him unresponsive.
As the first guard swung his sword, Bellamy ducked low, slipping under the blade with practiced ease. He pivoted on his heel, closing the distance between them in an instant. With a swift, brutal punch to the ribs, he felt the satisfying crack of bone beneath his knuckles. The guard gasped, his breath knocked out of him as he staggered back, clutching his side.
The second guard came at him with a raised shield, trying to barrel him over. Bellamy happily grinned and met the charge head-on. He dropped down low and threw a drop kick toward the guard's shin. A sickening crack was heard as the guard fell over forward at a horrifying angle, furthering worsening his injury. The first guard, still reeling from the punch to his ribs, tried to recover, raising his sword again. But Bellamy was already on him. He grabbed the guard by the face and drove his knee into the man's gut, doubling him over. Bellamy then followed up with a vicious uppercut, the force of the blow lifting the guard off his feet. The man flew off as he crashed to the deck, unconscious before he hit the ground.
"Is this all you've got?" Bellamy taunted, his laughter booming across the ship as the remaining guards hesitated, fear creeping into their eyes.
One brave soul tried to rally his comrades, shouting orders as he brandished a spear. Bellamy watched him for a moment, then his legs compressed once more, and he vanished from sight. The guard blinked, confused—until Bellamy reappeared right in front of him, his fist already in motion. The spear-wielding guard barely had time to register the attack before Bellamy's punch slammed into his face, shattering his nose and sending him crashing into the ship's railing. They exchanged nervous glances, but before they could decide how they should attack, Bellamy sprang into action once more. He bounced between them like a pinball, his movements too fast to follow. Every strike was precise, every blow a knockout. One by one, the guards fell, crumpling to the deck in a heap of dead bodies.
As the last guard hit the ground, Bellamy landed in the center of the carnage, his spring-powered legs uncurling as he stood tall. He surveyed the scene with satisfaction, wiping the sweat from his brow. The wealthy passengers cowered in fear, huddling together and praying they wouldn't be next.
"Take everything and anything!" Bellamy commanded, his voice cutting through the groans of the defeated crew. "If anyone gets in the way, kill them!"
The Hyena Pirates moved quickly, ransacking the merchant ship with ruthless efficiency. Muret even took the opportunity to pocket some medical supplies she found in the ship's infirmary, much to her satisfaction.

As they sailed away, the merchant ship left a completely stripped mess behind them, Bellamy couldn't help but feel a surge of pride as he began deciding which type of 100-fold increase he wanted from their stolen goods. Quality over quantity were his two choices in most cases. Like with the Devil Fruit skill increase, that couldn't be done by quantity since it wasn't something that could be made multiple of. So only the quality could be increased for that one. The other goodies though…
Bellamy couldn't help but burst out in laughter as he saw their treasure storage room filled with an uncountable amount of precious metals, gems, Beli, and fine art. As the captain, Bellamy wasn't above helping his crewmates either. He fitted their rooms out with luxurious beds and bedding, gave them the finest clothes that money couldn't buy, and even allowed them to keep some of the gold they stole for themselves. As Bellamy threw a celebratory party after their first successful plunder as pirates, he knew that the Hyena Pirates were officially in business.
