News about the dragon's defeat spread everywhere, not because an entire ancient dragon was single-handedly taken down by three humans –which was an achievement to reckon with considering dragons were a higher species meanwhile humans as a race was a lower one– but because the dragon was defeated by the union of two Adamantite Ranked groups of adventurers.
Darkness, which consisted of Momon and his follower Nabe, then Hiro. He's considered to be the first ever and only Adamantite Rank adventurer in a lone group. Normally such thing is not tolerated by the guild, but considering the latter rose to gold rank directly on his aptitude test, the restrictions of the guild were discarded this one time by Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix himself, as he thought those restrictions would represent an obstacle hindering Hiro's adventurous growth.
And he was right.
The fact that humans could beat dragons when working properly divided the population into two different camps. Theyre's the ignorant who think this is revolutionary, meanwhile others found this to be a threat for their own safety, of course for the second, we're talking about the Council State. A domain ruled by the almighty Platinum Dragon Lord; One of the most powerful creatures in this world, an original player of Yggdrasil and a slef-porclaimed Overseer of the New World.
News about three humans annihilating the Frost Dragon rose concern, as it meant more and more humans trying their luck against dragons, the quest to dominate nature once again as the alpha race was finally leaving standby.
"Hmmm..." The Platinum Dragon Lord was humming inside his temple, thinking about what to do next. This Platinum Dragon is a majestic being with white sparkling scales as if it was wearing a white faint light that flows and glitters across his body. And despite his colossal form, the tone of his voice can emanate gentleness.
"You're thinking loudly again, friend." This line was spoken by a frequent visitor of his, her name was Rigrit Caurau, a member of the Thirteen Legendary Heros and a former member of the Adamantite Rank Adventurers, Blue Rose.
"Am I? Ha. I guess things have been going wild lately it makes me unable to think properly." The Dragon Lord spoke, nonchalantly.
"Haha, and this is only the beginning, my friend. I think we can say for sure now that what We're witnessing is a new apparition." Rigrit announced, it's a reference to the apparition of the Evil Deities that takes place every 100 years.
"Hm. I don't know about that yet, most of these individuals are adventurers who fight for noble reasons. I was able to make sure of it myself." He said, his eyes barely open from the tiredness.
Rigrit's eyes shift to the empty Platinum Armor next to him, "Don't tell me you possessed the Armor Again." She says, frustrated and facepalming.
The dragon's body was too big and majestic to leave this temple without causing an uproar in the mortal realm even if it were for a good cause, so the only contact he had with the outside world was through possessing the Platinum Armor.
"Ever since the battle against the Evil Deities, it kept getting harder and more exhausting to control that Armor for long periods of time... But I think that with some practice and will power, I'll be able to control it just like how I did in my prime." He announced, his tone getting more and more tired.
Rigrit nods in disapproval, "Just don't force it too much on yourself, you've come all this way just so that everything stays balanced after your retirement." She says.
"Balance is nothing but a spectrum, ready to be broken at any moment by the apparitions. That's why I must stay on alert at all times, and be ready to face any problem at once." The dragon says.
"Haha. That's a bold speech coming from a divinity like you. If you wanted, you could be the most powerful creature in this world! No one would come even close to your strength and the apparitions surely would disappear for good!" Rigrit proclaims.
The Dragon smiles, "If only it were that easy... But as I keep getting stronger, my opponents evolve too..." He says.
Suddenly, his gigantic paws start shaking, "Not just in power... But in trickery too..." He mumbles, remember ming what he saw when he last left the temple.
"...." The silence stayed there for a whole minute before someone finally said something.
"Rigrit, did you personally meet with Hiro, the new Adamntire Adventurer?" He asked.
"I heard about him. But nothing formal." She said.
"Where was he a year ago? It's like he appeared out of thin air, showing what it's like to do the impossible and them vanishing once again." The dragon says.
"He's clearly an apparition." Rigrit comments.
"No apparition has been friendly so far. That's why he's a threat." The dragon says. "And what are you gonna do about it?" She asks.
"I'm going to fight him." He says.
Rigrit smiles. "Seems like you're back in business old pal!" She says.
"Hm." He huffs.

"Hmmm~ hm–hm~... Hmm~!" Someone was rather joyful today. This person was walking down the hallways of the headquarters while jumping and mumbling sounds of joy and happiness.
This person walked past a coworker who just noticed this sudden change of behavior, "Y–You're happy I see... This is new... And suddenly... I never expected this kind of reaction..." The coworker told his subordinate, and friend.
"Hmmmm~ Of course I'm happy! Because I finally, o' finally found him! Someone strong enough to rival me!" The mysterious person said.
The coworker had a sweat form on his face, "R–Really? Someone as strong as you? That's hard to believe." He says.
"Ehem~! I don't expect him to be as strong as me but he'll make a wonderful show. If I win, then I'll be incontested and lonely just like how it is...
But if he wins and somehow manages to beat me... Then I'll have finally found the perfect partner to make a child with! Ooh isn't it wonderful~? Such a chance coming so suddenly when you're least expecting it~? Fate is such a deceiver don't you think~?" This person stated.
"B–But your position as our trump card, you can't just leave whenever you want, we have work to do." This coworker was her captain at the Slane Theocracy's secret group; The Black Scriptures.
"Oh don't worry I'm not putting out friendship in danger! I'm still going to take good care of my team, because our next assigned mission to eliminate Baharuth's key asset!" The twisted person said.
"And I hope you won't let your filling stand in the way, Antilene." Her captain said.
"Hm~! No promises!" Antilene Heran Fouche said.
