Tension was building up quickly and destruction took over the entire area rapidly. So many sound effects taking place at the same time and a billion players arranged in the same zone simultaneously.
Not even a billion dollar server could handle such a task. Overgeared's servers were to designed to handle ten billion players playing and working with full capacity, but with the apparition of a restrained form of an Outer God who's devouring everything on its path, the count was taken down to just a few hundred million players.
"It's approaching Winston!!" Zibal shouted, as he ran rapidly from the approaching god.
"We—We can't let it get there or else it will cause the death of millions of innocents!!" Jishuka replied. She stopped on her tracks and tried finding way to stop the entity while looking at it. But the sky above her darkened as an immense voracious mouth opened wide open to devour her.
"GRAAAAAAH!!!" The dragon let out. "Get down Jishuka!!" Regas screamed. He dashed onto his boss just barely escaping from the dragon's grasp who flew away back up, disappointed.

"We—We should at least help the people evacuate... As much as possible..." Jishuka said. To which, her subordinate replied with a affirmative look.

"This place's really starting to look like a shit hole... Fuck Azathoth didn't lie hen he said I'm an asshole." Akira said. The latter was sitting on the main head of the entity he was controlling a minute back before being expelled from it due to unknown glitch.
Akira was holding a dagger and waiting for a moment to intervene, but looking at the independent Outer Entity causing carnage on its own while Ultima was doing a great job leading the dragons, he preferred spectating for now.
Then, the dragon queen passed by, going at the same speed as the entity so Ultima can communicate with her beloved. "Akiraa~!! How did you find the destruction?! Did— did you like it~?! N—No, did you LOVE IT~?!!" She asked, impatiently, and with stars in her eyes.
"Oh I must say I'm proud you succeeded in navigating an entire army of dragons, come here on top of this... *he looks at the entity below him... This other version of me." He says. Ultima jumps from the queen's head and onto Akira's side.
"So, what's the plan~?" She asks, smiling bitterly and sweetly.
"The plan? There's no plan. Though there's someone in particular I'm waiting to meet. So the plan is to cause as much death and destruction as possible to trigger the hero's arrival. I heard no one stands a chance against him, not even me." Akira replied.
"Someone more powerful than you? I'm really excited to meet him!" Ultima said.
"Likewise, my dear. Likewise." Akira responded.
*BOOOOM* The two look down and see that the entity breached the brick fortress and is now headed for the center of the city.
"Oh look at that. It seems like we've got to where we wanted... This has a very nostalgic feeling to it." Akira said.
"Yes!! It reminds me of when we destroyed Falmuth two years ago!" Ultima responded, reminding the time they used an Outer Creatire to destroy a country, but during that time they were all united. Too bad Carrera and Testarossa aren't much into video games.
"Yes, now I remember it! But this time, unlike the other, I'll rely on myself instead of this monster." Akira said. Clenching garder into the dagger, he jumped from the entity's head and landed on the ground like a cannonball, destroying the ground below and ready to do the thing he's most experienced with.
Kill.
"Denizens of Winston! There's nothing personal but to summon the hero I must show the critical situation y'all are in to the world for me to meet this guy who's stronger than me." Akira announced, even though obviously no one cared as they're busy running away from imminent death.
'I already confirmed the fact that this virtual world they call Overgeared is a real world existing in the vast multiverse, with the NPCs as inhabitants and the players as travelers who use the gear to get transported here. As for the game developers, they're the true gods without knowing it.' Akira said.
A guy was passing by, running away while crying. Akira swung his dagger around his back which caused the boy to die instantly as he fell on the ground agonizing and splashing blood, "Even this kill felt way too real for a virtual reality. Which means that this guy who's supposed to be stronger than me in this virtual world, must certainly be stronger than my Outer Form, Khiarreh'Nox..."
At the distance, Akira could see Yura. The poor was one of the few players stuck with an (SS) Rescue Quest.
"Haha, let's make it a bit harder for her." He said, quickly dashing towards the girl. While Yura was helping the citizens evacuate, she got attacked by Akira. She didn't repost until he was in a fatally close distance to her. "It—It's you!!" She shouted, trying to get her weapon out.
"Any last words, Yura~?" He asked.
"Go fuck yourself! Even if you kill me and take away another 15 levels from me I don't care. I'm quitting soon anyways." She said with a frown and an angry expression.
"Ouch! I was planning on ruining your quest by slaughtering your subjects!" Akira said, killing anyone who passed by him using a single swing of his dagger.
Cadavres upon cadavers of freshly killed people from all ages fell into the ground, forming likes around Yura.

Akira holds a young teen from the arm and plants the dagger in his head in front of Yura. A sweat appears on her head but she tries to hide it.

"S—Stop it." She said, only for Akira to jump aroujd and kill more people sadistically, to a point where Yura started worrying.
>Dead: 102.
"H—How can you kill your kind without remorse..." She says, anxiously.
Akira jumps on Yura. Unexpectedly, he laughs then caresses her cheek, "You're pretty, I'm not gonna kill you right now~... Hehehahaha." He laughed.
