my name is everett almond. i was born in the year 2041, the year where monsters started appearing out of nowhere. at the same time 10 percent of the population started awakening special powers. these people where called hunters.
i was a hunter too, even tho i was a hunter, a chosen one that awakened i was still looked down on and ended up being betrayed by my party.
you see awakened people awaken 1 special power that they can use upgrade. those special powers are ranked from e rank to s rank with e being the weakest and s being the strongest. i awakened the e rank ability low level healing. that's the reason why my party used me as a decoy while being chased by a high ranked monster. dammit if only i was stronger..... at that moment a bright light appeared and i could hear and see again. i woke up in a small dirty appartement with a single bedroom a kitchen and a toilet. i looked in the mirror next to me and saw a 16 year old boy with long black hair and a skinny body. suddenly a flow of memories started appearing in my mind. apparently this boy had the same name as me and had killed himself after his girlfriend cheated on him with his best friend after the awakening ceremony. it seems he awakened the E rank ability observation.

while his best friend awakened the A ranked ability super strength.

after understanding what my abilities where i instantly looked at the phone lying beside me. it was the year 2061 so it seems i have been reborn 1 year after i died. a scary smile started forming on my face with the only thing on my mind being revenge. i wil make al the people who looked down on me and betrayed me suffer as much as i did if not more, from now on i wil live a life whit my head high.
