Akuma's POV:
I'm going to be sparing with Hoshi to show where we have grown with getting in touch with our powers. If he wins, I'm going to be doing laps around the training area. If I win, he will cook Datian, Sumato, and me some dinner. Sumato and Datian have been cooking since we got here. They offered though but that's only because Hoshi did some extra training.
I was tired and mostly tried to help. I will gladly take his dinner because he is a good cook. Anyways I got to go to my selected room and train. What? I don't think you would want to run after a sparring match with him. I can feel the way my legs were hurting last time when Sumato made me run.
Anyways when I was little I wondered what my wings would look like but I didn't even get them at all. I'm sure I'll get them soon but I wonder if they'll look weird or not. People usually get their wings at 13-14, maybe even 15-16 (if there is an Angel or demon). I'm 19 without wings and honestly, anything that's different gets you bullied. Honestly, I'm not ever getting trained with the normal trainers cause I'm different.
Being half and half of two species is weird. Let me stop complaining about it though. I started working on the exercises that we were given, and it started getting easier when I did it more, but now I'm tired as heck. I went to the bathroom to cool off, but as soon as I opened the door I passed out. Damn, I am getting another vision.
Look around and I see the witch Saigau stabbing my mother with this knife that had something on it. I don't know if it was poison or not. I'm not going to trust that she was helping us because she was about to hurt us in the past vision. The vision was rather short so I woke up and was on the floor. When I got up I almost fell.
My back was heavy and I guess 19 was the time to get my wings. I try (miserably fail) to run to the bathroom. Why am I even surprised that my wings look weird? They keep going from demon to Angel and back. Finally, it stops and my back is okay now (thank you). After that, I found Hoshi, Datian, and Sumato in the training area by the kitchen.
I walk to the training area " So it seems like I got my wings today. So 3-6 years late which is honestly annoying".
Datian just stares at me like "YOU GOT YOUR WINGS!!!!".
Hoshi looks confused at me as heck " So is this because you're two different species or what".
I nod at him " Yep most likely because an angel or demon usually gets their wings at 13 or 14 latest doctors have seen is 15-16".
" Oh ok I get it I was confused at why she was so surprised".
" Yea I got it Hoshi".
I tell them about how weird my wings are and my sister gives me the most advice she can. I'll search up how to deal with angel wings. I'm going to have to learn how to switch from angel to demon to whatever that last one was as well. Hoshi was just being so helpful like always and helping me search for things.
Sumato comes in "I suggest you two get some rest. Your test/sparring match starts in 3 hours. Akuma, I'm mostly talking about you".
" Yea I guess I should get some rest, see you later Hoshi. Can't wait to taste your cooking later."
Datian came in and oooooh'ed with Sumato.
" Oh so that's how it is Akuma ok two can play that game. It's honestly going to hurt to see you run after I wipe the floor with you."
Datian and Sumato in the back " Dang y'all disrespectful". *Laughing*
We all laugh then after I go in my room to take a nap before the sparring match.
* After Waking Up*
Well damn, it's 10 minutes till the match let me put my stuff on and head out. I walk into the training area and Hoshi is just standing waiting for me.
" Seems like you want to hurry up and get this beat down Hoshi."
He dismisses my insult and shakes his head " Only thing I'm settling for is a tie, Akuma."
*Scoffs* " Never going to happen".
Sumato and Datian come in and state the rules, then it starts. (Btw this is physical strength no powers are used)
*Narrator POV*
Hoshi throws the first hit, but Akuma blocks it. After Akuma blocks, he then throws a punch which lands. Hoshi takes the punch then brings his leg up to kick Akuma. The kick doesn't fully land but it still kinda hits Akuma.
" Seems like I'm going to win Akuma".
" Not going to happen Hoshi".
Akuma punches Hoshi and it lands hard...
"Definitely".
Akuma dodges Hoshi's hits and throws another hit.....
"Not".
Hoshi dodges the punch then throws his own. After that Akuma took the punch lowered his leg and knocked Hoshi on his feet. In trying to do that move he failed himself.
"Hoshi".
*End of Narrator POV*
" Well Hoshi seems like you're cooking dinner? I honestly don't know".
" Damn it you're the first person to tie with me except my dad."
Datain and Sumato looked shocked as heck. They were just staring with their mouths open.
" He beat both of us, but with you, it was a tie. By the way, both of you will be doing your part of the bet."
We both got to do our part of the bet and running after fighting feels like some trash. When I finished my 3 laps, I walked back to my room because dinner wasn't ready yet. As I was sitting down the tv started flickering and my lights went on and off. I tried to calm down of course because I thought maybe it was me and I was right, everything stopped after I calmed down.
I walked to the kitchen to tell Hoshi" Hey Hoshi".
I waved but he didn't answer, then I waved to Sumato and Datain they didn't answer either.
Ok, so I guess I'm invisible. I took a piece of paper and a pencil and wrote, 'I have two more powers'.
Datain noticed " What the heck who wrote on that paper?".
Hoshi was confused, but then Sumato picked up the paper.
" Ok so it says 'I have two more powers'. Did you write this Hoshi?".
" No, I've been cooking this whole time."
While they were talking I wrote, 'It's Akuma I don't know how but I'm invisible.
" Omg, there's another note. It says 'It's Akuma I don't know how but I'm invisible."
Hoshi took the food out and sighed, " He's properly sitting there and looking at us. Anyways, Akuma I don't know exactly where you are but this probably happened because you're panicking."
I wrote 'So try and calm down?'.
Hoshi shook his head.
I took some deep breaths and slowed down my heartbeat.
" Please tell me, y'all can see me now".
They nodded and laughed. We ate dinner and I told them about what happened.
Sumato and Hoshi told me it's called Electromagnetic Interference. Both of them know because their brother was one of the head researchers for all of the species in general, that's not the only thing he does though. His brother is Yashin, aka the person who knows I'm bisexual. For safety reasons, no one can know meaning my grandparents on my dad's side.
They told me they would hurt me if I dated a guy, even though I didn't come out to them. However yesterday my dad finally spoke up against them. I know that took some courage though, they've already been slamming him for mom for 10 years. It ended up with him cutting him off for good to which he finally felt relieved.
" Akuma, he'll be coming here in two weeks to help you two. He can give you more info about your powers and some more stuff. Also he'll be coming with Amai aka-".
Hoshi's face balled up " Aka nothing Sumato".
She smirked and he got up and left.
Sumato laughed " You're so obvious Hoshi."
" We aren't dating, now I'm going to my room."
I laughed and Hoshi turned back. " Mr. I'm hiding something wants to laugh?"
" I'm not hiding anything."
"Ok, then I'm telling the truth about me and Amai not dating."
" So you're dating then".
" Yes, and you are hiding something because Amai knows who you are. She said you're a great friend and you've helped her a lot."
Datain was just shocked " What are you hiding Akuma?"
I got up. " Nothing." Grabbed my plate and left for my room. I can hear them talking as I'm walking. I don't know what I'm going to do when they show up in two weeks it's been months since I saw them.
Welp, I guess time will tell.
