[This message will be taken down by November 22nd]
Hello, precious readers!
It has come to my attention that more people (though gradually) have been growing interested in TCOTM.
When I first began writing the actual chapter, I had a co-writer who had helped me revise my tone in chapters, and make sure that it fell into a realistic standard for reader comprehension.
Over time, however, I told them that they could take a break because I wasn't sure anyone had known of this story in the first place (or was keeping up). So I had planned to just keep writing until I reached a certain point and then ask for help with style revision.
However, given that there are now a few more readers who are interacting with the story's progress, we have planned to use next week to go through the chapters past The Eternal Library arc and revise the style so that it still maintains a quality tone, but is more comprehensible in certain areas for readers.
(SN: If this story had more chapters I would hold off on revising, though since there are only a few, and these chapters will potentially be the factors that play into any new reader's decision to continue this series, I've decided it's best to polish what we can now. I have given regard to how this will slow down the progress even more, but I want to assure anyone reading that this will be a one-time thing until the entirety of the first volume has been completed.)
My 'editor' has glanced over the progress I've made so far, and agrees that although the storytelling is unique, there are multiple areas in particular chapters that could be less wordy and more straightforward with simpler narration.
We are also changing the perspective of the narration entirely to third person, and drawing the original concept of the switching viewpoints.
For this reason, we will not be publishing a chapter next week and instead I will be republishing/including grammar revisions to the chapters that have already been published.
I really appreciate the feedback! It helps me improve early so that as I continue to write, I have a better understanding of the reader's preferences.
The revisions will begin on Monday, November 18th, and will likely carry on until Thursday or Friday of the same week.
With that being said, if you are currently reading this story, I recommend saving your progress and waiting until the end of next week.
Though of course if you want to read the raw versions, that is also welcome!
Thank you so much for your time, and I look forward to reading any additional feedback after (or before) the chapters have been revised.
Best wishes,
Hjkoiro
