After the metal hatch was opened, Draco found that the green disk he had previously pushed into it was now floating ahead of him.
He reached over and grabbed the disk, storing it inside of his robes.
'This strange disk is clearly important, it's best if I hold onto it.' he thought.
Draco then walked down the dark passageway under the palace's ruins, wary for any traps.
There was a long stairway that led into the passegway's depths, and Draco continued down this staircase for around thirty seconds.
Fortunately, the passage held no surprises. Soon, the staircase led to a wide hallway.
Drao saw that this hallway was illuminated by bright lights that were embedded within the walls.
This hallway continued for a short distance before opening up into a massive chamber. What Draco saw inside the chamber made Draco's eyes light up with greed.
The middle of the chamber was filled with so much gold Draco deigned to call it a mountain. Surrounding the mountain of gold were over a dozen pedestals made of green stone.
These pedestals each held different treasures that Draco didn't doubt were all powerful artifacts.
Draco ran into this room, and the telltale pressure of a spatial-compression device washed over him.
The already huge chamber abruptly expanded, and Draco saw that the mountain of treasure ahead of him was actually over a hundred feet tall.
The ceiling of this chamber was also so high he couldn't even see where it ended.
Draco was now drooling with greed at this point, and he was wondering how he could even take this much treasure away with him.
Suddenly, Draco was alerted by the sounds of footsteps to his side.
He jumped away, on guard for the inevitable surprise attack.
However, Draco's eyes widened when he saw what had approached him.
It was some type of robotic automaton, but upon closer inspection it didn't look like a robot.
The automaton had a body made out of green stone, and its individual body parts seemed to be floating!
When the thing moved its body parts moved in unison, seemingly bound to each other by some unknown force.
Looking up, Draco saw that the automaton's head was also floating above its body.
The strange thing had unknown symbols carved into its face, and it peered at Draco with two soulless eyes that glowed with a white light.
"Mazeaj dkhyl." the automaton said, although it had no visible mouth.
Draco jumped in surprise when he heard the thing speak, for he wasn't expecting it to be capable of speech.
"What does that mean?" he asked in alarm.
The automaton continued, responding to Draco in English, "You are an intruder. However, my sensors indicate that you possess the Malik Stone, so I shall not eliminate you."
Draco was confused, "Malik Stone? What's that?" he asked.
"It is the royal token. I am not permitted to disobey the orders of the one who possesses the Malik Stone." said the automaton.
Draco nodded his head, glad he had held onto the green disk he found.
"Alright then, Mr. Robot. Tell me who you are." Draco ordered.
"I am Haris-Qiam, guardian of the royal treasury."
Draco waved his hand, "That name is a mouthful. I'll call you Harry."
Haris-Qiam bowed its head, "Understood. I am now Harry."
Draco then walked up to the automaton and looked it up and down.
"So, tell me. What exactly can you do?" he asked, curious to know its capabilities.
'Harry' met Draco's eyes and responded, "I was designed to function as a portable storage device. I have a storage dimension built into my core. My secondary function is to be this chamber's guardian."
Harry continued, "I am also equipped with the necessary weapons to defend this chamber."
"Well isn't that neat?" Draco said.
"My scanners indicate that this chamber is filled with clutter, my lord." replied Harry
Draco sighed and shook his head, clearly this automaton didn't understand humor.
"Do you have anything cool within your storage dimension?" he asked.
Harry's eyes flashed as he looked within his dimension.
"I currently have a number of the late king's personal weapons and armor. I also have a cache of blood coins, however, none of them are of a cold temperature." Harry responded.
"Blood coins?! How many of those do you have in there?" Draco asked.
"I have exactly one hundred and twenty seven blood coins in my dimension." said Harry.
When Draco heard this, his heart started beating rapidly. That would be more than enough blood coins to start his operations!
Draco also had an idea, "Harry, how much of this gold can you fit in your storage dimension?"
Harry turned towards the mountain of gold and scanned it, "Approximately half of it."
Draco nodded, "Alright, go ahead and take it. But save some space for other items."
Hearing Draco's order, Harry held out a hand towards the gold pile and green light started to emanate from it.
This green light surrounded the gold, and in just a second it had vanished entirely.
Draco watched this with awe as the gold pile vanished into the thin air.
What remained of the gold pile began to fall towards the ground in a loud cacophony of clattering coins, spilling across the floor.
Satisfied, Draco turned to walk towards the green pedestals lining the exterior of the room.
He saw that some of these pedestals held what looked to be scrolls.
Walking up to a pedestal, Draco picked one of the scrolls up and unfurled it.
The scroll had Arabic words on it that he couldn't understand, but it also had what looked like various diagrams of a person on them.
He grabbed similar scrolls from the other pedestals and saw that they contained the same thing.
The people on the diagrams were standing in different stances, and Draco wondered if these were techniques of some sort.
As Draco walked past the pedestals he handed these scrolls to Harry to be stored within his storage dimension.
Moving onto the next pedestals, Draco found an array of different pieces of armor and weapons displayed on them.
He found a helmet that radiated a powerful aura that Draco had never before seen from an artifact.
There were gauntlets and boots that radiated a similar pressure, and Draco wondered if these were high-grade artifacts.
Draco found swords and spears as well, all at the same level of strength as the other artifacts.
On one pedestal Draco even found a set of folded up robes.
These robes looked ordinary at first glance, but Draco was sure that this royal treasury held nothing normal.
He would have to take time later to examine these items and determine what they did.
Draco gave all of these things to Harry as he continued to walk through the chamber.
His eyes landed upon four black cases that were each on a separate pedestal.
Approaching these cases, Draco felt like they looked familiar.
'Wait… no, there's no way right?' he thought in disbelief.
He walked up to one of the cases and unlatched it. He watched as cold air escaped from the case after it was opened.
When he saw the vial of swirling red liquid sitting within the case, his breath stopped.
Draco reached a shaky hand towards the vial and picked it up.
He was now certain, for this looked exactly like the progenitor serum Draco had previously been given by Amira!
Looking back at the case, he saw that it read, 'ST-E Serum. Synthesized from the blood of Chiron.'
"Holy sh*t!" Draco shouted, rushing over to the other cases.
The next case held a vial of green liquid, and it read, 'AGI-E Serum. Synthesized from the blood of Mantodea.'
Another case had the same green progenitor serum, and Draco could only imagine what abilities they gave.
Draco went over to the last case, wondering what type of serum it held.
This case was filled with a swirling blue liquid, and it read, 'INT-E Serum. Synthesized from the blood of Vulgaris.'
Perhaps Harry could tell Draco what these progenitor serums did. He knew that ST-E stood for strength enhancing, so he wondered if AGI was for agility and INT was for intelligence.
There was no way to know for sure though, so he resolved to investigate the topic at a later date.
After storing the cases with Harry, Draco turned towards the last pedestal in the chamber.
This pedestal held a pristine white case, and Draco hoped this one also held progenitor serum.
However, when he opened it up, shock crossed his features.
The case held a black object, and it looked too familiar for Draco to be mistaken.
Picking up the black hilt of a lightsword in his hands, Draco was speechless.
"How did Libya's royal family gain access to the Khalid Dynasty's treasures?" he asked aloud, not expecting an answer.
However, he heard Harry's robotic voice from behind him.
"The late king of Libya, Fairouz Asad, had a great relationship with the king of the Khalid Dynasty, Zain Khalid. Many of the items within this chamber are gifts from King Zain." explained Harry.
Draco nodded, for this made sense.
After all, Libya and Saudi Arabia were relatively close countries. It made sense for their rulers to have close ties.
Draco placed the hilt of the lightsword within his robes, he planned on keeping such a powerful weapon on hand.
Right when Draco was preparing to leave, he heard his radio begin to sound off.
Prince Rayad's voice was coming from the radio, but it was too staticy to make out what he was saying.
