The officer behind Draco walked forwards and spoke to the man, "My lord, this is the terrorist leader. We were receiving reports of him buying weapons and stockpiling them into a dangerous looking vehicle."
The officer sounded smug, evidently proud of himself for neutralizing a terrorist threat.
However, the man who had stepped down from the throne was clearly not amused.
The officer was confused, "Prince?" he asked.
However, the 'Prince' said nothing, and simply walked up to the officer.
Draco was wondering what this strange atmosphere was, but he stared in shock as he saw the prince roughly hit the officer across the face with a backhand!
The officer's face collapsed in on itself as he was sent flying into the crowd of nobles off to the side.
People screamed and shrieked in terror as they moved out of the way of the body.
"Silence!" the prince yelled, and the room fell quiet.
Draco's jaw hung open in surprise, and he saw that the officer didn't get back up. The prince had killed him!
Judging by the power of the hit, this prince was clearly powered. However, Draco was unable to detect any powered aura from the man.
After the prince killed the officer, he calmly smiled at Draco.
"Myw we
apologies. My officer was clearly misguided." he said to Draco.
Draco said nothing, he was just confused by everything that was happening.
The prince continued, "It was his fault for getting a false report and not doing the proper investigation. You are clearly a powered individual, and if you were truly intending on doing acts of terrorism, you wouldn't have allowed yourself to be captured like that."
The man laughed, "You may remove your restraints if you'd like."
Draco didn't know what to say, but after hearing the prince's words he simply flexed his wrists and the handcuffs broke off of him.
The nobles in the surroundings gasped in surprise when they saw this.
"Thank you for your kindness.. Prince." Draco said.
"You may call me Prince Rayad." the man said.
Draco nodded, "Prince Rayad, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I go by the name Draco."
Draco continued, "I am grateful for your generosity and wisdom. Does this mean I am free to go?"
Prince Rayad nodded, "Of course, Draco. You are no prisoner here, but I do hope you stay to hear me out."
Draco raised an eyebrow, curious about what this prince could possibly want from him.
Prince Rayad continued, "I am currently engaged in a conflict, and powered soldiers are a scarce commodity. I would like to enlist you into my forces."
Draco was surprised to hear this, but perhaps this was an opportunity.
"I can help you, but I would need payment for my services." he said.
The prince nodded his head with a smile, "Name your price."
Draco cleared his throat, "I would need blood coins."
When Prince Rayad heard this, the smile was wiped off of his face.
His eye twitched, "Blood coins? I can tell you are strong, but do not play with me. I would be willing to part with perhaps a single blood coin, but you would have to prove your worth first."
Draco sighed, he knew it wasn't going to be so easy.
"Can you tell me who you are fighting with?" he asked.
The prince nodded, "I am engaged in a conflict for the throne of Libya. You see, my father recently passed away, leaving the throne open. I was supposed to be next in line for succession, but my treasonous second brother took over Tripoli and claimed the throne for himself."
This was all news to Draco, he had no idea such a conflict was going on in Libya.
Draco smiled when he heard this though, "What if I told you I had a way to deal with this brother of yours."
The prince laughed at Draco's words, "If you did, then I would give you every single blood coin in my coffers."
He then shook his head, "Do not joke with me though, this is no laughing matter."
Draco chuckled, "Prince Rayad, I assure you that I am telling the truth."
The prince narrowed his eyes at Draco suspiciously, but then he turned around to look at one of the powered men next to the throne.
The man nodded his head at the prince, and Prince Rayad turned back to Draco with shock written all over his features.
"My god, you are telling the truth!" he exclaimed.
This surprised Draco, he wondered if one of the prince's men had a way to read minds. However, he kept his face neutral.
Draco nodded his head with a chuckle, "I told you."
"Tell me! How? Do you know of a way to infiltrate the royal palace?" he asked.
"I would prefer to keep my methods secret, but rest assured that I will be able to take the usurper out of the equation." Draco said, not mentioning that the rest of the city would also likely be taken out in the process.
Prince Rayad smiled broadly when he heard that, and he extended a hand to Draco.
Draco took the man's hand, surprised by the strength within his grip.
"We have a deal then, just tell me what you need." The prince said.
Draco smiled back at the man, "Just a few things. Firstly, I would like to have my men freed and their weapons returned."
The prince nodded, "It shall be done."
Draco continued, "Next, I want you to help train my men in your facilities. Lastly, I want to have my pick of the spoils from Tripoli."
The prince thought for a moment, but eventually nodded his head again.
"I will see to it." he said, motioning towards one of his men behind him.
He turned back to Draco, "You may stay within my palace in the meantime. Please let me know if you need anything."
Draco was then led out of the throne room by a servant. He was brought into a long hallway that held at least ten large bronze doors.
There were a score of guards on the sides of the hallway holding staffs topped with sabres, and they stared forward motionlessly as Draco and the servant passed them.
The servant brought Draco to one of those doors, and then bowed his head.
Assuming this was the room he would be staying in, Draco opened the door and walked inside.
Draco saw that the room he had been given was grand in its design.
The room had high ceilings, and was large enough to be considered a house in its own right.
There were luxurious couches surrounding a table in the center of the room, and there were four doors located at the edges of the main room.
Walking around, Draco saw that there was a large kitchen on one side of the room, and each of the doors led to a different bedroom.
Draco walked into one of the bedrooms and found that it was just as grand as the rest of the residence.
The bedroom had a huge bed that was decorated with ornate designs. Rich tapestries lined the walls, and a huge flat-screen television sat on the wall facing the bed.
"This place is massive, I wonder how long I'll be staying here." Draco thought to himself, walking back into the main room of the residence.
Draco decided to use the time while he was waiting to work out.
He figured that his enhanced body could no longer be improved through simple exercise, but he still liked doing it.
He found a spot in the main room and got down on the floor to start doing pushups. He did pushups for nearly an hour, and he lost track of how many he did after five hundred.
After doing that he went to situps, and he did those for another hour.
Draco had moved on to standing push ups after that.
He was currently lifting himself up into the air with two arms, when his room's door suddenly opened.
He turned his head to see Snow and Amber walk into the room, and he saw a crowd of people behind them.
The prince had evidently brought Draco's forces to the palace.
Draco stood up from his position and walked over to them, greeting them with a smile.
"I'm glad to see you're all alright." he said.
Snow ran up to Draco and jumped into his arms, embracing him in a hug.
Draco laughed as he rubbed Snow on the back.
"I was so worried Draco, I'm happy you're okay!" she said.
Draco smirked, "When have I ever not been okay?" he replied.
He let Snow down, and turned to hear Amber addressing him.
"I don't know how you always do this. One moment disaster strikes, and the next moment we're sitting inside of a massive palace." she laughed.
Draco simply shrugged with a chuckle.
Snow was now looking at the room, "Is this our room? It's huge!" she exclaimed.
Draco nodded, "This is for us. Did the prince say anything about where the rest of the group would stay?" he asked.
Amber spoke up, "No, but the servant that brought us here said that we could use any of the rooms in this hallway."
"Great! Well go ahead and tell everyone to choose a room, there should be enough rooms for everyone to rest comfortably." Draco said.
Amber nodded and left the room, closing the door behind her.
This just left Draco and Snow alone in the room, who looked at each other with a fiery passion in their eyes.
"It's been a while since we've had alone time..." Snow said quietly, shuffling on her feet.
Draco chuckled, walking up to Snow.
He lifted her chin with a gentle hand, and embraced her lips with his own.
After their lips parted, Draco picked Snow up in a princess carry and carried the giggling girl over to one of the bedrooms.
He threw her down on the bed, loosening his robes and letting them fall down to the floor.
