Su Ming'an opened his eyes and saw the familiar ceiling.
His blurry vision hadn't fully recovered yet. What had been a grayish-white ceiling now appeared dark gray to him.
He moved his body and felt a familiar pressure, as if a stone were pressing down on him.
He reached out, grabbed the white cat lying on top of him, and violently threw it aside.
"Meow!"
The sound came from the cat that had been sleeping soundly, and it suddenly exploded into a flurry of white.
Su Ming'an didn't know when this creature had started appearing by his side. It seemed to appear mysteriously, not needing his permission like the black cat did.
Ignoring the cat, he sat up and looked at the time.
This time he had slept for about a day.
His experiences in the Sixth World had left him without good sleep, the numerous deaths in a short time ravaging his nerves. Upon waking, he felt an almost suffocating oppression surrounding him.
He could barely breathe.
