Su Ming'an opened his eyes and saw the white daisies in front of the bed.
The little Lolita in the elaborate dress was sitting quietly in front of the chair, her hair showered in the warm orange light of the overhead lamp.
"You're awake,"
she said, slowly rising to her feet and curtsying to him.

Hui Shuhang did not say much either, seeming accustomed to his silence. After tucking the blanket neatly around him, she lowered her head and slowly left.
After she left, Su Ming'an got out of bed.
