Kaibong Corporation is one of the largest coal-fired power developers in the Kaibong country, currently headed by President Masumi Aoki, a fifty-year-old middle-aged man.
Over 90% of the coal imported from outside Kaibong enters the domestic market through them, and their existence is a very important hub for the entire country's energy supply.
As usual, Masumi Aoki was in his office looking at the fluctuation of coal import prices for the year. Although the price of coal had dropped significantly compared to previous years, due to the pandemic, transportation costs were extremely high, and the profits of exporting countries had decreased, leading many of them to reduce or even stop their coal export quotas.
Even though coal is not a clean energy source, with nuclear and hydro power generation not yet mature, coal remains an indispensable energy resource.
