\\Stelios' Secret Treehouse//
"Alright boy, you say we're safe so answer my questions." Rei said in a very grumpy voice. He sat on a chair to the left of the hammock that Stelios was laying on.
The reason he was grumpy was because the boy had him walk half way across, what he had told Rei was the Kingdom of Acraria. Rei was extremely surprised that they were not stopped by a guard. After all, he had never been here before and he was carrying what looked like a dead body. Rei thought that at least one guard or two would find him suspicious. However, everywhere they went there didn't seem to be any guards whatsoever. Even places that seemed important didn't have any.
"Alright, alright, what are your questions?" Stelios said a bit annoyed, because Rei had been pestering him the entire way to the treehouse.
"What is this planet called? Why didn't we see any guards on our way here? Why am I here? What are the statuses of this world? What is your status and my status? How old are you? And who are your parents?" Rei said rapid firing the questions, not really understanding or really even noticing the fact that there was a small ding in his head.
{Ding... status activation successful}
Stelios then said, "I don't know what you mean by "planet" but I do know what plane we are on and what gods live on this plane, we're on the Egyptian plane and that means that the Egyptian gods live on this plane"
"Egyptian plane?" Rei asked, 'Does he mean those ancient gods from Egypt? And isn't his name Greek?', Rei thought this because there often wasn't much to do after he got done around the cabin except play video games, watch anime, or study something interesting. One day, 'something interesting' was Greek myths, legends, and history along with the language. Languages weren't what he studied in college but, he did pick them up rather quick, whether it was Greek or Japanese.
"Yes, there are millions of planes, but the three main ones are the Greek plane, Norse plane, and Egyptian plane. In order of strongest to weakest gods, humans, and monsters that live on those planes." he said in a bored tone as if quadrillions of existences that are thousands of times more powerful than him and could kill him at any moment didn't scare him.
Rei then said with a serious and slightly threatening tone, "Don't mess with me kid-"
"I'm not! And we didn't see any guards on our way here because this is the 'dirty part of the kingdom', as that tyrant likes to call it. Being a port town, you wouldn't think that it would be this bad, but... The queen is a tyrant and she doesn't like to keep more than ten guards in the 'dirty part of the kingdom' because she runs drug deals and has gangs stationed here. The people around here like to call themselves 'Irinal N'Tel'Quess', translated from Elvish as 'forsaken not-people'. They chose this name because it signifies the fact that we have been abandoned and are not treated like people. Also, because Elvin kind are the Queen's greatest pain in the neck and the rebels wanted to make her retaliate according to their plan."
"Wh-" Rei started to say something
Stelios then continued a little angrier this time "All I can tell you about the statuses of THIS plane is that every one that lives in Chisty Port Town are the lowest of the low on pretty much any scale. Everyone is starving, no one has any money, most of the old people haven't taken a bath or shower in over a month, the-"
"Stelios stop!" Rei said in a deep, angry, but also sad voice. This stopped Stelios from talking anymore, because at this point he was in the fetal position, crying his eyes out. And although Rei was extremely eager to learn and understand everything that was going on, he didn't have the heart nor the will to watch this kid he had met only a few hours ago, go through, what Rei had reasoned to be, torture for the little boy.
Silence. Awkward silence. You know the type of silence. The type of silence there is after your dad tells you off for being sad and then tells you off more when you retaliate because you're now angry that your dad told you off for being sad, and then said something you shouldn't have. THAT silence. The type of silence you know you shouldn't do or say anything more in, but... it's just too hard. And you suddenly burst...
