Chapter 403 - Triumph

Ka'jai held the carapace axolotl in his arms as Elliott shocked the last remaining seraphs and tied them with a tight rope. He wiped the dust off his hands and beamed, proud of success.

He approached the scanara tribe's men and women, seeing them sit on the grass, exhausted and lost in thoughts. He raised his thumb and shut his eyes, "Good job, everyone! You did great! Now let's take that creature back to Chiaki."

Yerachmiel's shattered defenses revealed his dried, mossy skin. It drove him to focus his gaze on the other.

Yumiko and Tarot landed on the floor beside Ivione, keeping his arms crossed over his chest, revealing that Yumiko made a great first impression.

"For a swordswoman, you sure know how to attack from afar. You have my praise, swordmaster." Ivione smiled. Yumiko set her hands on her hips and grinned energetically, enjoying the credit she received.

However, none were safe with Yerachmiel's agitation. Ivione explained the plan to them and requested them to erase all attention on him and lead Yerachmiel toward the celestial tree, where Timothy, Phalris, and Kyora waited to deliver the final blow.

Tarot agreed and rode the cloud into the skies, leaving Yumiko on the ground level. He flew before Yerachmiel's eyes, made fun of him by showing bizarre faces, and earned his attention.

Before long, Yerachmiel followed Tarot's speedy cloud, hoping he could knock him out of the air. Tarot had an essential mission and he needed to succeed.

He had to guide Yerachmiel away from damaging the city.

It was the final phase to defeat Yerachmiel, and it needed to count.

Full speed onward, Tarot zipped across the skies and circled around the city to avoid destroying the Sanctum City while Ivione guarded the citizens in case Kyora's plan failed.

"Guys! It's the divine emperor of wind! Ivione!" one woman shouted as another one screamed in shock, "He's helping!" a male citizen yelled while Ivione secured to guide the residents to a safe place, acting as their primary line of defense.

Many citizens observed Tarot zipping beneath the clouds, maintaining a safe distance from Yerachmiel not to get hit by his colossal attacks. "Keep heading this way, babyface!" Tarot taunted and aggravated Yerachmiel, compelling him to walk faster and cause heavier temblors across the Sanctum islands.

Phalris and Kyora already prepared the water bubbles that floated skyward. They formed an entire army of bubbles to cool the air, whose moisture would get sucked in by Timothy's overheated flames.

"I'm impressed you know so much about the weather, Kyora," Phalris claimed, summoning more and more bubbles, "You had to spend some time learning how it works." Kyora grinned, holding her staff before forming cold bubbles too.

"I've done some research. Either way, if I strike Yerachmiel with a strong enough thunderbolt, it'll spread through his body and shock him strongly enough to knock him off balance so that Ralphie can shatter his head and finally release the soul to where it belongs. And that's why burning his head and then shocking him is necessary. It'll weaken his skin enough for Ralphie to break through it."

Tarot continued leading Yerachmiel while Ralphie waited underneath the celestial tree, smoking and preparing to strike when necessary. "Kyora-princess, I'm honored you trust me..." he smirked, seeing Yerachmiel nearing the tree.

He twisted his ankles and stretched his legs. He comprehended he needed to be careful and strong enough to break through Yerachmiel's hard skin.

"Tim! Get ready!" Kyora announced, commanding from above. Timothy hid behind the tree at an angle to where Yerachmiel couldn't spot him. He held the frontal part of the vine in his hands, breathing in and out.

Yerachmiel's footsteps became louder the closer he strode and reached the destination. "Three..." Tarot sped up, "two..." he zipped past the tree, shouting at them, "..." Kyora waited a few seconds and finally yelled, "One! Tim, now!"

Timothy burst out orange flames, which seared and quickly spread across the vine, igniting it, compelling Kyora and Phalris to leap in the air and allow the vine to unwrap itself.

Timothy dashed forward and leaped in the air, dropping at the level of Yerachmiel's enormous face. He dragged the burning plant with him and tangled it around Colossal's neck, speeding behind him to tightly squeeze the neck and overheating his hard skin and sucking in the bubbles' moistures, popping them.

It bent Yerachmiel's upper body rearward as Timothy released the vines and used fire, flaring from his palms and blasting himself in the distance. "Kyora! Go for it!" he yelled after turning to look at her one last time.

She boosted her staff high in the air and swung it downward like a hammer. The electricity from its tip reacted and caused the grey clouds to thunder.

"Thunder Blast!"

The electricity zipped and zapped. It formed a giant thunderbolt that erupted from the clouds and struck Yerachmiel's head, sending an immense shock through it, shattering the earth underneath his feet, causing him to fall rearward.

Yerachmiel's colossal body hurled and crashed into the floor like a meteor.

Ralphie enveloped his left foot with the sun energy he gathered throughout the day and dropped the cigarette.

He exerted force through his feet and smashed the ground, boosting himself skyward to reach a certain height, high enough to dive onto Yerachmiel's skull.

He elevated his leg above his head, summoning a destructive shockwave that pulsated through the skies and created a flashy show. "Solar..." He started spinning in the air like a drill and dove at breakneck speed.

By speeding downward, he broke the sound waves which dinged behind. "Crusher!" With a heavy kick beneath him, Ralphie's heel rammed Yerachmiel's weakened head.

Three flashes played in a series of actions as his forceful kick slammed Yerachmiel's head against the ground. It detonated, creating an energy eruption that shrouded Ralphie, swallowing him inside.

The vibrancy overwhelmed Yerachmiel and exploded his body into debris that rolled across the floor. Suddenly, a white sphere flew from the yellow energy and zoomed across the Sanctum Islands' skies, returning to the typhoon above the podium in the dead zone.

It flew inside it, shutting the vortex and unleashing a powerful pulse that dispersed the thundering clouds to clear the sky and return its peacefulness.

Shanya and other people in different sections of the islands became impressed. Their land achieved victory and happily cheered, knowing the brief warfare ended.

They would once again live in peace and harmony.

To be continued...
