Emma couldn't believe her eyes, and she felt betrayed. "Sam! W-What are you talking about?! Why are you-?!" Emma got interrupted, "Officer, I'm sure that those kids are somewhere in this shop. I guarantee it."
Isobel grunted. "Sir! We found one!" In an instant, everyone's gazes locked at the door leading to the storage. "Let me go!" screamed Blythe, held by two officers.
"No, Blythe! S-Sam! Y-You..." She tried to avoid exclaiming any other words.
"Let him go! He hasn't done anything!" Emma begged, but to no avail. "What should we do with him, commander?"
"Chain him up and prepare to take him to the la Isleta Cortada's headquarters. The fleet Admiral Warren will take it from there. Make sure he doesn't escape." Isobel's commands were heard loud and clear.
They chained Blythe's arms and pushed him outdoors. "Stop! Why are you doing this?! Let me go! I haven't done anything to oppose the world government!" Blythe complained. His words were frustrated, irritated, and anxious at the same time.
"Please, stop this nonsense, officer! He didn't do anything! He's only been helping me at the shop, but he never hurt anyone! He's not a convict!" He heard Emma crying and wishing to set him free, "You can ruin my business, but let him go! Please!"
However, the marines denied every request she made.
"I'm afraid the orders from the fleet admiral matter the most here. I cannot disobey his commands, and Yasuda's captivity is for the greater good of society," He explained, "Now, officers! Search the shop again and locate his sister."
The officers scattered throughout the entire place and searched it again.
This time they removed everything from the shelves, emptied the fridge, and even checked for any hidden door until the marine child located Chiaki behind one of the shelves.
She was astonished and felt horrified. However, the kid didn't respond. "Elian," an officer called, "Have you found something?"
Elian sighed, "No... just a few trash bags." He covered Chiaki back up and stepped away as if he never saw her. "I see... then I suppose the girl's not here. We've checked everything." Explained the man and returned with the rest of his comrades to the shop's front.
"Commander Isobel. We've finished the entire search and checked every shelf, but the girl's not here." Sam felt suspicious, but she didn't have another comment involving the information. "She's not? But..."
Isobel stood confidently. "Very well... We'll search elsewhere."
"What about the woman?"
They looked at Emma, whose head was fuzzy and frozen with emotions. "Take her to custody. Due to her deceiving the world government, we will most likely imprison her."
Emma felt a strange chill run down her spine, knowing that Sam, who she once believed was her friend betrayed her.
But suddenly, they noticed Blythe's hair rapidly wave out of thin air. They rippled like in a storm, and his eyes became as red as blood. His face became horrifying, and the marines became paralyzed.
They heard their bodies cracking, "W-What's going on! I can't move!" The men screamed, horrified and shocked. "You won't put a hand on Emma!" Blythe's voice became deep and more aggressive.
Isobel became astonished, seeing the rest of his officers floating in the air. "You monster! Leave the officers alone!" Complained Isobel but suddenly noticed his officers' necks twisting and causing them to fall on the ground, lifeless.
Blythe revealed the unknown powers he hid from Emma, her sister, and even the world government.
Emma became more terrorized than comfortable. She couldn't believe her eyes, "B-Blythe... W-What are you?"
Sam's eyes opened wide, and suddenly she felt her body lacking control. "W-What is happening to me?" She screamed in agony, hearing her bones cracking.
"I'm linking my soul with yours so that I can get Emma out of here." Desperately claimed Blythe and began moving Sam's body like a puppet.
"S-Stop it! Y-You monster! E-Emma! D-Do you see who you were protecting?! A bunch of assassins! They are murderers!" Sam screamed, feeling more and more pain throughout her body.
"B-Blythe! Y-You..." Sam complained, but she managed to see her own arm reaching for the keys inside one of the marines' uniforms.
She took it out and got forced to move behind Blythe. "To... think you were... good people... N-Now I see why the world government wants you dead! Y-You psychos!" Sam yelled and inserted the key into the chains, releasing Blythe's arms.
Blythe moved his right arm in front of his torso and grabbed his wrist with the other. His eyes continued glowing as he blood-bounded everyone in the room except Emma.
"I won't let you ruin Emma's life. You'll pay." He said, walking closer to Isobel. "Y-You little... brat!"
"Sorry, I can't hear you," Blythe grabbed Isobel's neck firmly and started choking him, "I guess something's around your throat. Do you need a doctor?"
Blythe's tattoo on his right shoulder glowed while Isobel's vision blurred. He couldn't even see Blythe's body, and he continued trying to break free from the tight grip.
Yet it had no success. "What's the matter, 'officers?' I thought you came here to sentence me to death. But look how the tables have turned. I'm gonna make you suffer for everything you did to my mother and the rest of the Yasuda members! Maybe then you'll learn not to mess with me," He tightened his grip, ensuring to suffocate Isobel.
"After I'm done with you here. I'm going to assassinate the remaining law enforcement officials and achieve the freedom I've been looking for at last!" Claimed Blythe, "Oh, you'll suffer right here and now while I enjoy every moment of it. And I'll laugh at it again and again. Believe me."
Slowly Isobel's vision darkened, preparing to accept his faith.
Until, the unexpected happened, and Blythe got caught off guard.
"Blythe! Stop!"
His eyes opened wide, and he gazed at Emma. He could see tears in her eyelids, feeling disappointed and horrified. "E-Emma..." His grasp softened on Isobel's neck.
