Chapter 263 - Regrouped

One hour passed by ever since Timothy reunited with Codey. The day remained calm and warm.

Timothy waited outside on the shore with Etoceans and his friends. Finally, a ship sailed before them and docked itself close by.

Timothy's face shone with a smile. "He-ey! Timmy!" Yumiko's voice echoed out from the ship. "Good to see you again!" Called Kou, waving with Yumiko to Timothy.

Yumiko and Kou jumped off the ship and landed in the sand. They ran to Timothy and instantly shared a fist bump.

The rest of the crew followed suit.

Etoceans happily invited them onto their island, and before knowing it, everyone stood in the same room.

"Ah, I'm honored to have finally met the entire crew," claimed Gebsy, giggling, "It piques my interest, knowing that these are the people who did so many good deeds."

Codey scratched the back of his head. "So, I guess Yumiko joined the crew, but who's she?" he asked, pointing his finger at his side.

Kyora looked at Codey, her hands on her hips. "Oh, you see... erm..." Timothy awkwardly tapped his cheek. "She's the new navigator. You were doing a poor job, so we replaced your role."

Codey's eyes changed to boredom as his eyes slowly drifted to the side, his face covered by sweat. "So... you were the navigator of the ship before, huh? Nice to meet you." Kyora claimed, smiling politely.

Codey returned his view to Timothy and surrendered. "Wow... that's what I get for leaving? I guess it couldn't be helped. I did do a poor job at navigation."

After Codey admitted his horrible navigation skills, Ayuka glanced at Alpha. "I didn't expect to see you here. Good to see you, Alpha!" Ayuka smiled, waiting to see Alpha's response.

Alpha crossed her arms and looked away from her. "Did you just come to flash your big personality at me or what? I don't recall you ever being nice to me." Ayuka blinked due to confusion and looked down at her breasts. She felt embarrassed. "Let's forget about the past and move on... hehe..."

Ralphie ran around accepting Etocean's way of greeting. They snuggled their noses which he couldn't avoid. Whenever he shared a snuggle, his eyes became pink. His heartbeat became louder the longer he did it, eventually passing out on the floor.

"You've been busy, haven't you, Tim?" said Ayuka, seeing him nod. "I was, but not very efficient. I almost made it, but then everything went wrong." He sighed, upset. "I can't lie. The world government's agents are tougher than they look. Even if I found a boat, I don't know how I would save Chiaki myself. I had Alpha's help, but even our power combined isn't good enough. And, of course, I didn't forget about my ability. It's gotten barred by the seawater."

He looked into his palm. "So, I was asked to stay here and learn how to channel electricity from my body. I would've said yes, but I'm on a time limit and without a boat. It's not looking too good for me, but I'm glad Codey contacted you. I'm sorry..."

Yumiko laughed at Timothy's apology. "Aw, come on, Timmy! Don't be so harsh on yourself. We all know you wanted to keep us away from danger. But now that we're here, we'll gladly share our strength to take down those agents and rescue Chiaki." Her blades bounced on her hips.

"She's right. And it's not like we can't separate in the future. Once we save Chiaki, we'll be on our merry way and meet back at Winterpeak Island, as you said." Explained Kyora, glad she could help. "Besides, I gotta return the favor." She finished, slightly lifting her fists in front of her.

"So, Timothy. Are you willing to stick around for a few hours? I'm certain you could learn Elevolt's basic techniques in under 12 hours." Gebsy explained, giving Timothy hope and belief. "12 hours? I don't recall the correct hour that her execution will take place. But 12 hours sounds too much for my liking..." He said, thinking.

"Yeah, we don't have an exact time for when it's intended to begin. But I do think we might have less than 12 hours." Exclaimed Codey, calculating in his head. "No, we don't, and we can't divide into two groups since we only have one ship. So, I'm not sure if Tim has enough time." Ayuka believed up until Timothy smiled.

"Less than 12 hours..." Everyone looked at Timothy, who stood up. "720 minutes... no. I'll just have to learn it in 5 hours. I'm sure 300 minutes is enough." Timothy smiled with confidence. "5 hours? I'm afraid that's impossible, Timothy. To those who we taught our style of fighting needed over 24 hours. But that was without them having any knowledge. Your body, at least, possesses some remnants of electricity. You would need 12 hours at minimum." Claimed Gebsy as Poxi nodded.

"You don't know me well, Gebsy. I have good eyes and ears for coming up with new techniques quickly. And if you claim that I have some essence of electricity inside me, that makes it more believable. I guarantee you I only need 5 hours maximum. If you don't believe me, then test me."

Gebsy closed his eyes and lowered his head. "Very well... I could teach you myself, but I'll let Poxi and the other Etoceans do it. I'm too old, and my time's almost up. But I'm sure Poxi and everyone else will do just fine. They're experts at channeling electricity through their bodies. I will only provide you with some advice before you leave."

Timothy smashed his fists together, smiled, and nodded. "Gotcha!"

Poxi bit into his ear as he finished. He paused and became unamused. "Stop biting my ear!" Timothy shouted, trying to remove Poxi from his body.

"Honestly... learning your fighting style will definitely be helpful now that I don't have my abilities fixed. So, I have to do it anyway before it's too late. And now that everyone's here, I feel much more confident, so...

"Let's do it!"

To be continued...
