The "symbolizing room" or the "Room of Justice". The inmates who have been readied for execution receive a mark in this unique room. The star-shaped icon on the mark stands for justice. The workers who mark the convicts perform a physical check on them to find any undesirable objects. When they're done, they take a highlighter and mark the prisoner's placement on the body.
It's a novel approach to indicate whether or not the prisoner will be put to death. Not wearing that mark protects those from being executed. The death penalty is applied to those who carry this unique mark.
The person at the door allowed them into the chamber and said, "Chiaki Yasuda, before you're taken to the underwater train, you must acquire a mark. It will indicate that you agree with the execution. If you disagree, you will be forced to comply." Chiaki was shoved inside the room by the guard escorting her there, who then closed the door behind her. "Mr. Alvaro, we've brought you the execution target, and we need you to give her a marker so we can hurry onto the train quickly."
Alvaro came forward and put the gloves on his hands. "I suppose the Yasuda family will finally pass away before they curse us all. Before you get the mark, I want you to strip down to your underwear so we can check your body for any unwanted objects. If everything seems okay, then you can receive the mark."
Chiaki undressed to her underwear quietly since she knew what would happen if she didn't cooperate. Alvaro began searching her body for any items that would help her flee as she shifted her garments to the side. He had to look everywhere, but Chiaki had nothing on her and prepared to put on clothes again after getting a mark. He was only proven wrong.
"You're clear. Let's proceed." Alvaro reached out for the marker and searched for it. He looked at it, returned next to Chiaki, and grabbed her left arm roughly. Chiaki's eyes were shaking after noticing that the item in his hand was heating and would burn a mark on her skin. Without even giving her a chance to prepare, he pressed the heated object onto her left arm and burnt through her skin to consider her mark. Of course, doing such a thing wasn't comfortable for Chiaki, and the burnt skin on her left shoulder pained her. On top of that, feeling the heat reminded her of Tim.
She had to use her other hand to cover the burnt-in mark because of the pain. She couldn't even hide the sweat on her brow even if she tried.
"Chiaki Yasuda's been marked. You are free to dress up and be taken to the underwater railway." Chiaki was grabbed by her other shoulder and dragged out before turning out to look back at Alvaro. "W-Wait! Hold on! I want to know what's going on outside! Please! I need to know! Is Tim-?!"
But she couldn't finish her sentence as she was forced out, and the door shut behind her. Alvaro stood motionlessly and looked at the door carelessly.
"Oh, don't worry about a thing, you sweet little child. Your friends will get eliminated before you could even receive an answer." Alvaro put down the marker and went back to work. Even yet, Chiaki was unable to hear him.
But in response to that query, it seemed obvious that Tim and Phoebe would continue their intrusion for some time to come. Tim prepared for battle immediately away, although he tried to hold back from using his right arm because it was still severely damaged from his own strength.
He faced a powerful-walking bear that he knew he couldn't underestimate. "I don't know how a bear became an agent, but I don't have time to deal with you!"
He pulled his arm far behind him and without hesitating, ignited it. The orange flames seared out like an inferno and would expand at more pressure used.
He dashed up close to meet Snoobs head-on and finally punched forward. He was ready to smash Snoobs in the head, but he didn't expect his foe could counter his assault with a simple block from his palm.
His knuckles collided with Snoobs' paws, and once it did that, it pounced Tim back. His attack was rendered useless, and after trying to catch his balance, Snoobs pushed in with an assault. His giant furry fists rammed directly into Tim who used his forearms to soften the blow.
Despite that, he was still pushed back as if he was skidding on frozen ice. But he didn't surrender and continued pressing. He seared out another fire that circled around him and enflamed his left fist.
He punched forward, aiming his knuckles at Snoobs' head. His punch released a fire fist-like shaped attack that sped forward at unyielding speed.
Snoobs, using the forbidden technique of armory showed no care in the world. He utilized it to its fullest potential and punched through the fire fist like wind, spreading it out. "I guess I can't hope on my fire to protect me from you this time! I'll fight you head-on!" Tim shouted and then exchanged fist blows with Snoobs with their attacks, creating a cyclone of wind.
Tim's might seemed not enough to break through Snoobs. He hurried on to leap back. "He's a trained agent, that's for sure. He even has the strength of a bear. Combine that, and you get a strong warrior." Tim believed what he saw. He raised his left leg, set it on fire, and jabbed it in front of him. He kicked out an infernal blast that darted from one point to another.
Snoobs thrust his armored hand through the fire and slammed it into the earth. He raised stones by his sheer effort after causing the ground to split. Tim's body was going to be torn to bits by the advancing stones as they piled their way through.
"It almost feels like I'm fighting rock with fire!" He sprinted forward and inhaled. He leaped high in the air, tightened his lungs, and breathed fire from his mouth while dodging the stones.
The stones crashed into their troops and knocked them away. "Hey, Snoobs! Those are our men!" But he was caught startled once realizing that Tim's flamethrower enveloped Snoobs. "He can breathe fire too?" Phoebe wondered but had no time to be impressed.
Instead, she opened her arms, whipped out the ropes, and tossed them around. She wrapped her ropes around several marines and then pulled them together, slamming them against each other. Once the first few were knocked around, she found herself in a rapid-fire of bullets.
She quickly pressed her palm into the ground and created a barrier of gravity that stopped the bullets and forced them to lose their gravity, only to drop down like rocks.
The marines were caught speechless. "She shifted gravity? Our bullets won't reach her if she keeps herself wrapped around in that field!" The marine that shouted out was correct, and others weren't sure what to do. "Keep firing!" another one yelled.
They reloaded their ammo, but useless. Phoebe's arms hardened with black metal, which stretched out onto the ropes. From normal-type, they became like metal pipes able to stretch and strike like hammers.
She hurriedly spun around in her position and drove her metal ropes through the marines, decreasing their numbers even more than already.
With the fallen soldiers getting knocked and tossed around like fragments, their screams reverberated throughout the vicinity. Gootsy remained calm. He knew that the other marines wouldn't stand much of a chance against special ability users. He then met Phoebe with his eyes.
"Ya-ho-ho! I certainly didn't expect you to have the possibility of using the forbidden technique of armory. Perhaps that means you've mastered it quite well." Believed Gootsy, playing a relaxing tune on his violin.
"I've mastered all three. If you think you stand a chance with just your one, then you're wrong." Claimed Phoebe and pulled her metal ropes back.
"Ya-ho-ho! I indeed may only have the power to use one. However... It doesn't change the fact that I'm more skilled in a duel than you."
Phoebe and Gootsy locked their eyes on each other. Both knew that they'd be greeted with a duel.
18 minutes remain before the underwater train's set to go...
