Tomomi, Kou, and Natan entered the more isolated area where they found a cabin. It stood on its own, close to the grassy area of the island. "Look, maybe there's somebody in there." Claimed Kou, hidden behind the bushes.
"We shouldn't bother them until we're certain to be safe around them." Explained Tomomi carrying a big leaf in front of her to hide her face. "I mean... what if these people can help us rescue Tim? Don't you think it would be wise to question them about the isle?"
"Or we could just go in and shoot them down one by one. They could have a bounty on their heads, and for a bounty hunter such as me, that would be sufficient."
Tomomi and Kou gently cocked their head to the side and looked at him with an unimpressed look. "Why did I expect you to say something like that?" Kou wondered, and slowly heard the door opening. "Quick, get down!"
Both Tomomi and Kou noticed that Natan continued to stay casually out in the open until both immediately reached for his head and pulled him down. "Stop being greedy! Follow Tomomi's lead!" Natan felt uncomfortable, "You're so naive."
In a while they observed from the bushes, noticing two men stepping outside from the cabin, equipped with a gun. They could hear their conversation, something about a hunt. "You're certain? The radar showed giants in this area?" questioned the brown-haired man.
"This radar hasn't failed us yet. It showed a red dot closeby at the desert square - it has to be one of the giants, and they headed east, most likely to that dragon head skull." Claimed the bearded man.
They weren't wary of the surroundings and didn't realize that there were other people in the area. They passed the bush cluelessly as Tomomi swiftly peeked from over its top, "Looks like they headed east; we should follow them silently." Kou and Natan felt bewildered about Tomomi's plan of action, questioning their reason as to why, but agreed.
Tim continued the story about the adventures he and his friends ventured to. Gogo's curiosity about Ayuka felt fun to listen to and made it sure not to miss a single detail.
~ "This just in and to all residents of Tokyo City, an unknown creature just broke into the central district of Tokyo City and assaulted hundreds of people on its loose. The police department and its troops have been trying to dispose of it. However, there has been no success. We urge you to stay inside your homes and lock your doors. It's an abnormal manifestation that we have yet to succeed in studying-" the announcement on the television continued as Myles sat on the bed.
Tim watched from behind the countertop holding a bottle of cold water and needed to act immediately. "You've got to be kidding me..." he dropped the bottle and silently walked to the apartment door and reached out for his coat. "Tim, where are you going?" questioned Myles.
"I just have to check something for myself and make sure to fix something up. Stay inside and don't exit the apartment. You saw the news so please don't cause much trouble."
Without any debate, Myles agreed and allowed Tim to leave the apartment.
It only took him a couple of seconds to enter the outside and remembered the oath he gave to Giovanni before his death. He needed to catch up to the demon's location before more lives would disappear.
He was invisible to people's eyes as he chased over the street lamps, bouncing over them to gain speed from the launch. People could only see a swirl of wind on top of the lamp posts, mysterious to their knowledge at the tip of Tim's foot.
He'd been moving at a nonstop pace without stopping even for a bit. His body would be blurry to the naked eye like smoke that you can barely see.
The demon in the central area of the city climbed on the walls like a spider waving his long and slimy tongue outside of his mouth. "Tasty prey!" he exclaimed and spotted a woman with her child. He lunged at them with full speed as the woman screamed while trying to keep her son alive.
"Stay away from us!" the demon's fleshy arms came in contact with the woman's back and immediately plunged her body into the ground. His saliva squirted from his horrendous breath and his bloody sharp teeth would soon bite into her neck, but before he succeeded, Tim's body blasted through a current of wind and immediately came face to face with that demon.
"Get off them!" he yelled for his voice to thunder through the city, as he slashed the sword forward and struck the demon into his hardened skin. The blade connected, and in that instant, the collision curled up a wind cyclone that the mother and her son felt; Tim was invisible to their view like a ghoul.
The demon's face was squished together from the strike as he was knocked, flying through the air at breakneck speed. Demon's body crashed into the nearest building for his hardened body to crack its walls, then rolled down and on the road. Not knowing what had happened in front of them the woman wasted no time and hurriedly dragged her son out of the massacre.
"A duelist?!" shouted the shocked demon. His eyes trembled to see one of them defending the streets of planet Earth. It crawled up to his two feet and roared out from his rage.
"You vile duelist, you ruined my feast! I don't like to be interrupted when I'm just about to have a taste of someone's delicious flesh between my teeth! For that, I will devour you first!"
Tim planted his feet on the road, watching the demon from a safe distance. "If you're attempting to scare me, it's not working," Tim replied, speedily clenching the sword's handle tightly. "Shut up!" the demon yelled and launched through the air over the roads to immediately swing his fleshy arm in aim to slash Tim's frontal body.
Tim defended with his sword for the hardened arm to clash with the sword's metal. He held him away from his stomach, then overtook demon's physically prowess, where he succeeded in pushing him back to stay unharmed.
"You think you can enter my home and kill innocent people for your own selfish reasons? I won't let you ruin their lives!" without Tim realizing that another demon watched over him from behind the alley, crawling and growling, waiting to strike when the prey grows weak, like a tiger.
Tim needed to face off the demon until he would finally cut off his neck. However, as he dropped his guard because of his terrible observation, the hidden demon finally lunged forward and prepared to bite into his neck.
"You're mine, human!" the demon roared out and Tim had almost no time to react. His eyes witnessed terror as he would soon feel the demon's teeth stab into his neck, yet didn't.
Ayuka dropped from a high place with her right leg extended far beneath her. The wind flapped around her like a swirl and followed her like a trail. She fell at the speed of a falling meteor that could soon devastate the world, and then rammed her sole at the top of the demon's hard head.
She drove him into the ground to stomp on his head and then quaked the ground beneath her from her thunderous might. The demon's skull shattered into millions of fragments for his whole head to explode into blood and splattered on the road.
Tim didn't believe his eyes as both of them exchanged views. "You're that girl I saw in the mall yesterday." He claimed, astounded. "You learn quick, huh? The name's Koyanagi Ayuka." ~
"And that's how we officially became associates. She drove me insane every day since I met her, because of the sheer number of demons growing everyday and even started to use my closet as a place to sleep and where she kept her horrendous clothes." Tim claimed and quickly became unamused.
"Not to mention she used that place a private 'room' for her while I was away. We soon became friends, and she was soon forced to be executed because of her accidental arrival in to my world without permission. I had to save her even though she wanted me to stay away, and then I had to do it again because she figured out her true identity to be the next 'Holy Light', which is considered a role of a goddess in our universe."
Tim explained, pressing his palms onto his shins. "That sound cool! I want to know more, more! Your friend a goddess... what that mean?"
Tim chuckled and then understood he would need to continue his story. "I guess the role of a Holy Light is like a king of the entire world. They act as a guardian and keep mankind safe from vile creatures such as those demons or any sort of threats. If you would like, I can explain you more about that at the time we had to visit Holy Arches."
Gogo nodded and clapped louder. "Yes, me would like that! Please, tell!"
"If you insist..."
