The flames were exploding into infernal disaster bits like overcharged voltage. Tem's given shackles that held her to the chair started to disintegrate until it violently exploded free, knocking Tem off of it.
The body of fire was in front of them, maintaining a frightful, menacing aspect. She remained completely still and showed no mercy in order to deliver Muro and the "Sun Soldiers" back to Yumiko's earlier torment. She essentially advocated non-violence and made it a point to only take life when absolutely necessary.
That's what it meant to be the holder of life...
Tem knew there was more to it, even though she was still unsure of her own capabilities. Her blood was that of a god, but it was only a branch compared to the complete tree.
"Those flames..." shouted Muro, "Those flames have the same color as Feenix Kagutsuchi, a long-deceased "Keeper of Life." That cannot be accurate. The "Keeper" who abandoned mankind! You must be his reincarnation since 20 decades ago! But how could he have become somebody of your status? Your power exceeds that of a demon despite being only a regular human.
"However, the "Six Keepers" had the capacity to masquerade as regular people! Why didn't humanity share its wisdom with you earlier? Could it be that ever since your birth, you've been staying hidden in your domain?"
Tem took a serious stance in front of him and prepared her fists as the blue and yellow flames burned on top of her dwindlingly slowly on the clothing.
"I don't know what you're talking about, and I have no interest in learning. No matter how many times I want to, all I want to do is break that head of yours. If I do something once, I'll do it again. If I feel like doing anything three times, I will. I could even want to shatter it for a larger number than this."
She started to approach, ready to strike sooner if anyone tried to abandon the scene before, but Kizu swiftly blocked her way by skidding in front of Muro and holding his dual swords ready in case of need.
"I'm afraid, yet I can't allow you to approach Muro any closer. There is no denying that you need to be terminated, regardless of who or what you are. You are not the owner of this castle, and it is our responsibility as "Sun Soldiers" to protect the superior. You simply need to move a small amount before I strike and permanently silence you."
She remained motionless for some time as she listened to Kizu's warning. She didn't show any less concern and moved on right away. This prompted Kizu to quickly transform himself into a golden light and dart forward, able to transfer himself using his own light patterns.
Tem was surrounded by the light trails, which nearly webbed in all directions around the room. She saw that some of the trails appeared to shine brighter than others, giving her the appearance that she was aware of Kizu's location.
Kizu's movements were thought to be made of light, although the speed at which he moved wasn't even near to the speed of light.
Despite his limitations, he still exhibited incredible speed when compared to other warriors. At Godspeed's lowest point, he would be comparable to Elliott himself.
"You can't move an inch; you're like a tree rooted in the ground." Kizu laughed. "What strategy will you use to face a foe who can move so quickly? I'll surprise you at any time. It could last for a few seconds, minutes, or even hours."
Tem didn't flinch even an inch. She just used her eyes to follow the more vivid patterns. She would incline her head back if they were behind her. She would only focus on the movement if they were in front of her. She managed to see portions of the battle despite Kizu moving so quickly.
While disregarding the other, useless light patterns, she could make out the red soul of Kizu flowing through one of the patterns.
She had the capacity to quiet all other sounds around her, allowing her to hear only the wind gusts flying around someone's body, and she could sense a human's heat the faster they moved, and more sweat they exposed.
She was now able to use the skills she had previously been unable to use, which brought back memories of the time she was forced to "reborn" after being struck by the arrow.
She steadily grew stronger even though only an hour had passed since then, as if the "rebirth" has been the reason for it.
Finally, she noticed Kizu's pattern entirely fading with a twitching motion. Kizu appeared behind her in an instant out of nothing but light, drawing his blade from above his head and slicing down vertically.
Tem could feel the windy environment from Kizu's every move whirl about her like a true tornado trying to suspend someone from doing anything as she stood in the middle, ready to be struck.
She spun around perfectly, dragging her right arm behind her at shoulder height, before Kizu could even finish the slice, stunning him.
Tem's hand gripped his front face tightly, as if she were holding a ball in one palm, and fully stopped his slash from being finished.
As she prepared to slam him without compression, she forced her arm to shove his body toward the ground. He could feel his own body being hauled to the ground, and in the next instant, his skull was fractured when his face smashed the floor.
Just the blow's impact alone caused the room to become completely flooded with everyone in it like a cyclone. Its pulse caused a number of light objects in the room to be blown away and even caused the door to the room to be blasted off the frame and into the next area. It was chilly but heated at the same time.
The same blow sent a great vibration through the marble floor where almost everyone was standing and up into the air.
The scientific equipment that Muro used to create his ultimate potion was driven over by the door.
Yumiko, who was hung to the wall, was unable to sense the power of the shaking ground, and Tem's incredible power left her astonished into speechlessness.
After taking one strike, Kizu immediately passed out. He merely let the light patterns he had produced fade away, leaving the space as dark as possible.
Tem straightened herself up before turning to face Muro. He understood that it would be impossible for him to flee. Not wanting to disregard Tem, he paid attention to what she had to say. He was so terrified that he would have done anything to get away.
"They're not as tough as you expected, your "Sun Soldiers." Just when you think you know who to trust, one of them lets you down without saying a word. He hasn't been slain yet, at least not yet. We'll wait and see what your fate has to offer."
"Fine, so you think you're so brilliant that you're challenging me to a fight. You're such a dreadful young girl; you have no qualms in the castle. Of all the girls out there, I believed that you had a specialization derived from the otherworld.
"However, in the end, you're just another careless fool whose skills exceed their tolerance. You shouldn't have to worry about those fanciful powers. I assure you that Feenix Kagutsuchi's tale is much more contentious despite his betrayal of mankind.
"He was at least due his authority. Along with being the "Keeper of Life," he was also supported by the 'Keeper of Growth". The existence of the two is the only reason why mankind still exists."
Tem chose to limit her own strength in order to prevent starting any carnage in the room because she knew that using her powers at their highest potential would be dangerous and could ruin her personality.
"I only came here for three reasons: to get a cure for Tomomi, to help the people whose lives you damaged by making them homeless, and finally to fulfill my promise to Yumi. She will finish playing your senseless blood sample game at the end of the day and return to her regular life. I'll make it happen."
