Chapter 125 - Met With Opposite

In the alley, men and women congregated. They were looking at the expensive statue. It was a statue of a woman standing with almost no clothing on. It was brought here by Tony and his two best friends, Dimmy and Laura, and was being sold for a premium price.

Their objective was to raise enough cash to gain entry to the castle. They were unaware that the money could not be used as an admission. People weren't paying attention to the fact that it was made of tinted wood.

Really, it had no worth. It was merely placed there, and perhaps someone would buy it. They pretended to be salespeople while actually using a premeditated ruse. Some people showed interest, but the majority merely gave it little thought.

"Boss... I don't thing we'll get anywhere with this statue? Do you think they figured it out for being fake?"

"Oh, Laura, Laura, Laura. Pay no worry. This 'expensive' statue will be afford sooner than you think. There will definitely be one individual who'll waste their money for some mild wood. Trust me."

"The boss is right. They would already report our scam to the "Sun's Order" if these numskulls figured out the truth behind our ruse. Look at them, they're dumbfound! I promise you, that not even one person will figure it out."

Too soon to speak. Kou headed into the alley. He was looking for Tim and thought that he would be in a crowded place where plenty food is served. He stopped in front of their sale and observed the strange design of the statue.

As soon as he swept his palm across the statue, his gaze tipped to the side. He knew it was made of wood by its scratchy, rough texture, which was enough to inform him; it was wood, no doubt.

Kou caught their attention as their bulging eyes locked with his. They were swaying their tongue out of their mouth. Their cheeks were covered in sweat, and their hair stood up. They were trembling silently and attempting to speak. But not mandatory.

Kou quickly gave them a furious look and pointed his finger at them. His left hip was supported by the other arm.

"Hey! This statue is made out wood! The skin of it is too rough for it to be stone!"

"You're scamming these poor citizens for nothing!"

He shouted it out so that others might hear it as he fully exposed their fraud. The scam artists were soon the focus of serious situations.

The faces were thrown at them like something out of a horror film. Some were annoyed, while others were repulsed by the behavior. In preparation for appointing the hoax to the "Sun's Order," people even started to depart the area.

The three started to exchange stares with Kou, each other, and the people outside, who were all displaying bitter displeasure. When they realized that their day would once again become disastrous, they were terrified for their lives.

Tony had a hard time coming up with an explanation, and even when he did, it was awful. Everyone was able to see through the scheme like breaking glass. They soon began to hear voices calling out. People claiming to reveal their scheme to the soldiers, then prison them in castle.

They began waving their hands forward with him and his friends. Although they tried to calm everyone down, it was too late. People began to touch their hands against the sculpture in greater numbers. Only to be proven true.

"This is disaster! Who do you think you are, kid?!"

"You're ruining our reputation, and our chances of selling the statue! Who comes to the brilliant statues and touches it to their will? Not even having permission!!"

Kou raised his head and put his other hand on his hip. He behaved normally. There was no way to fathom him. His look was largely blank but slightly angered. People were looking trustingly at Kou when he implored with them to stop.

"How dare you try to scam people?! That's just inconceivable! You deserve to be put into prison for that crap!"

"Now... If you don't mind, I will get rid of this... ew... disgusting statue."

"Seriously?! It doesn't even have a proper structure of the feminine body! Its design is far too simple, and its face is hardly any better. It looks like somebody stuffed food into their faces; the cheeks are way too wide!"

"No wonders people ignored it... It's straight up ugly."

Tony's mood was wrecked by Kou's insult. He fell to the ground and knelt down on all fours like a defeated animal. He was hiding behind a single brilliant light and was in shame. He was in tears since he was unable to take the ridicule.

"I worked so hard on the design... How could you say something so mean...? It took me five hours to color it this perfectly..."

Kou looked on. His eyes began to flitter. He noticed Laura and Dimmy squat next to Tony and gently pat his head. They stood by him and made every effort to calm him down. Tony continued to be depressed for he was unable to handle what Kou had said to him. It didn't work.

He lost the battle. He had no belief whatsoever. Not even once did it ignite. It kept him rooted to the ground like an insect that has been squashed. The melancholy was total. The folks could see it was genuine.

Kou felt humiliated by it, and some people even began to criticize him for completely ruining someone's day. He made an attempt to escape by talking, but many were just offended. He finally gave up.

"Come on, people! I just exposed a scammer! Why are you looking at me like I'm the scammer here?!"

"Ugh... This is dumb... Why did I even come here in the first place. Of course.... Because my captain went out in the wild on his own, so it made me lose him completely. I'm so honored to be here..."

He turned and walked away from the marketplace. He put his hands in his pockets and fled the scene in a defeated manner. The three fraudsters, however, sprang to their feet before he could. Tony had a furious look on his face. He went insane after being exposed on the point.

He looked suspiciously at Kou while deceptively grinning. He had a nail-sharp piercing. The shadows were all over his face. He was only interested in getting even.

His shrill cry boomed throughout the place. The crowd in the market was stunned. When they focused on the scammers, they discovered that they were prepared to engage in combat.

They shouted a battle cry. Kou was being pursued by him while he stood by to punch the foe. He tended to grab the enemy who had just exposed him as he quickly left the area. All he wanted was retaliation, but...

Kou's ears were exposed to Tony's movements' loud noise. He was compelled to engage in a fight that he didn't want to. He spun around and avoided being hit like a spinner. He bounced behind with his feet while maintaining a forced smile.

Tony's body was thrown over, missing Kou entirely. After falling, he was unable to resist the temptation to fight. His sly eyes were blazing like fire. He hopped back up and yelled his complaint at Kou.

He punched him while aiming for the head. Kou squatted down and took a step back. He observed Tony trying to hit while swinging his arm downward. It was a failure. Kou dodged the blow by moving to the side, under. He only saw Tony throwing himself around like a warrior who lacked the necessary physical combat skills.

Tony fell to the ground on his face. Kou watched, hopping up and down in excitement. He made fun of his foe while having the time of his life. He was compelled to laugh. People's wows were audible both at the front and the rear. They were amazed at how well he could move. It was a surprising lot of flexibility for Kou's age.

"Come on. I thought you'd be a better fighter. Don't tell me you're trying to embarrass yourself in front of a kid? I'm 14!"

Tony's thoughts folded Kou's mockery. Laura and Dimmy were both gazing in awe at the surroundings. They were requested to help, but they refused and stayed behind. They had no intention of becoming involved in a battle they couldn't win.

Instead, the two sat down on the side of the fountain with their already purchased sandwiches in hand. Although it was clear that Tony underestimated Kou's ability, he continued to resent him for what he had done. He finally got back up after wanting to strike him out of rage.

Once more, he jumped right into action. Kou was already prepared and was knowledgeable of his opponent's fighting style's movements. Despite having no skill, he was able to pick them up in a matter of seconds.

Tony overdid his eagerness. He moved forward and delivered an uppercut as he rose. It also missed. Kou, who was backing away, just saw its frontal form as it passed.

Tony wasn't one to give up. He launched another frontal assault on Kou's face. Kou turned his body away from the attack to retaliate. As Tony's arm sped passed his chest, Kou felt it. He quickly spun around and raised his leg. He leapt into the next action. He jumped, then kicked Tony's torso to the side with a roundhouse motion. He was hit with enough power to become unbalanced before falling to the ground like a wounded buddy.

It was finished. Kou prevailed in the fight. Slowly slipping his hands into the pockets, he laughed heartily. He turned around and headed forth, delighted to have received some amusement.

He discovered a book. The same symbol that represented the "Sun's Order" was used once more. He waved goodbye to the three fraudsters as he departed the area and later came across a woman who was considering some meat.

She was laughing, and it shone in her eyes. The sun's errant rays caught her white hair in the glass. To see the meat, her blue eyes were filled with stars. Kou recognized some of her clothing, she wore. Blue and white. He decided to approach the girl and greet.

"Hey... Um, those clothes are kind of familiar to me."

Head turned to face Kou. She, still beaming with excitement in the public's view. Her arms shook forward as she laughed cheerfully. Kou was most astonished by what she said when her voice first contacted his ears.

"Hey, Kou! Finally, I found you!"

Kou's body went cold. As stable as a rock, he was. His mouth and eyes were wide open. His complexion was as ghostly white. He felt cold at the time. Out of shock, he dropped the book. It scolded to the side after bouncing on the ground. He realized.

It was the epiphany. She was his captain, standing in front of him. The person who had stopped Byron's madness in time to save the Golden Wasakona. He stopped thinking for a moment. He could only observe the woman waiting for food while she was noisy, impatient, and happy.

To be continued...
