Elliott remained immobile as he prepared to assault Claude. He seized hold of his pen and transformed it into his blade, sending lightning everywhere and zapping some of the plant life to ash. Elliott knelt down and began channeling black lightning through his body and onto the blade, then ran towards Claude, ready to strike him in the stomach with his first assault.
Claude was caught off guard and immediately turned his hands into wings, just avoiding his attack. He spread out his wings after rising into the sky, and some of the feathers shot out and were pointed at Elliott, and they began flying at him at a rapid rate, one after the other.
Elliott remained there for a while, then vanished into the darkness and reappeared behind him, yelling "...too slow..." Elliot then raised his sword over his head and slammed it into his shoulder, sending him falling into the ground, leaving a large crater on the ground. When Claude looked up, he saw Elliott flying down at him at a high speed, attempting to land a final blow, but he was able to turn away just in time using his wings.
As he landed, Elliot made the hole much bigger than it had been. Claude was attempting to gain a safe distance from Elliott in order to attack him, but Elliott did not allow him to do so. Elliott gathered energy once more, but this time he concentrated it through his blade before slashing black lighting slashes at Claude.
The first two slashes missed Claude, but the third swept his shoulder, inflicting him pain. He leapt to the air again, forming a gigantic sword out of his feathers, aiming to slash him a second time, but Elliott was still far faster with his black lightning, and he vanished into another slash of lightning, emerging just in front of him.
"You scum, I'll exact my vengeance for what you did to my ally!" Claude managed to shove him away quite a distance as they clashed their weapons, and he smirked.
"You may have injured me, and I'll grant you that you're a terrific fighter, but..."
Claude began to clutch his spear, making it longer and sharper than before, as well as gathering all of his feathers and making them fly about him as if trying to be a barrier against any attack that might come his way.
"I'm not going to let you win so easily!" He immediately began to gather feathers and aimed them at Elliott, attaching them, but this time his feathers have merged into a massive whirlwind and darted in the direction of Elliott. He wasn't able to evade his attack in time, so he was struck by it and became entangled in his tornado of feathers, which began to slash at him from all directions, cutting Elliott.
But, before he could be hurt any further, he charged himself with electricity and sliced through the feathers to try to destroy them, and he was successful in cutting down all of the feathers. Claude then launched himself at him with his spear, attempting to stab him through his body as he gathered the remaining remnants of the feathers.
Elliott was able to avoid most of his strikes, but he was still hurt in some body parts, so he gathered some lights in his soles and stomped on the floor, sending electric currents through the floor and causing the area they were standing on to erupt. They both managed to avoid his attack and drew some distance between themselves, staring at each other, both injured, fatigued, and bleeding, but Claude was on the verge of giving up the fight.
"I can't give up now! I've been tasked with assassinating you and your allies. Whatever it takes, I'll get it done!" He raised his arm high into the air, causing black feathers to whirl around his body like a hurricane or a giant wind vortex, which raged on, even enveloping the terrain with its massive barrier of floating feathers.
Elliott sensed many forest birds fleeing into the night sky, and he was overwhelmed by being trapped in a vast room filled with feathers. ("Is he truly that powerful that he can conjure up an entire storm of feathers? If I'm cut by them, that'll be a problem.")
"Welcome to my feathered dominion, a place from which you'll never be able to leave! Prepare yourself by absorbing my attacks, but be warned: these feathers will reduce your body to bone piles, and your skin will squish itself into a carnage!"
"You talk a lot for someone who ran away the first time. I'm not going to deny your ability or the sharpness of the feathers, so let's get this over with." Elliott exhaled deeply and lowered himself to a small crouch, his kneecaps slamming forward and his left sole pressing on the floor.
While he lifted the sword nearly above his knees for the blade to turn itself into electricity that presented itself as transparency, black electricity sparkled about his body constantly and increased its voltage, which smoothly flowed around his body, mixing itself into his aura.
After rising and swinging his arm down, Claude broke out laughing, then unleashed a torrent of feathers that began flying through the air at breakneck speed, while Elliott progressively closed his eyes and switched off his thoughts, relying just on instincts.
He relaxed as his imagination conjured up an image of water splashing on a green plant in a dark room, slowly pouring down the plant.
To switch off his mind while still moving, he allowed his instinct to take control of his body to avoid feathers which he compared to wind whistling past him.
The feathers flew at him at breakneck speed, but it was no more difficult than evading a bow arrow. As the feathers flew past his neck and stabbed into the soil, he took a small step to the side and tilted his body for a fraction of an inch.
His feet were twisted behind his back as he leaned forward to avoid the feathers, then he took a side step to bend his body away from the feathers and slightly lower his head as he felt feathers sweeping over his hair.
Elliott stepped to the side again, shifting his position to allow the feathers to pass by his hips, then fronted his closed eyes with Claude's and stooped forward to avoid another swarm of feathers.
He contributed as much as he could to avoid by depending on his instincts and continuing to circle and flow his movement between feathers like smooth water, and he got it through without difficulty, with the fewest number of wounds on his body.
"You're extremely frustrating! Stop avoiding; it's getting on my nerves!" Claude's thoughts was swamped with fury, causing him to fume with aggravation, causing the feathers to attack three times as rapidly as before, but this also boosted Elliott's speed of instincts. He was able to dodge the feathers quickly enough for his transparent silhouette to leave itself behind him.
It quickly depleted Claude's stamina, forcing him to cease attacking, but not deterring Elliott, who appeared calm, unlike Claude, who gasped for air due to exhaustion.
"I can't... Stop, no more... I give up, just let me live..." He pleaded for compassion, but Elliott's desire to avenge Tim drove him to become ruthless, squatting in front of him and holding the hilt of his sword, the blade of which was spiked behind him.
"I don't have mercy on individuals who don't deserve it... You're wrong to believe I'll let you live after what you've done. This is your fate, and you will not be able to escape it. I will completely destroy you and show no mercy."
"10 million volts. Rumble Ball..."
When a bolt of black thunder slammed into the ground from the clouds at the speed of light, it was absorbed by Elliott's aura, which began to collect strong charge.
The ground was brutally shattered and transformed into splinters of yielding desire by the thunderclap. It shook the earth, vaporizing the trees in exchange for the force reaching the ground, while Karisa hurriedly averted her gaze and crept behind one of the trees.
The electricity around Elliott was uncontrollable, yet it was bursting in every direction at breakneck speed, and it was beginning to get pulled inside of Elliott's left hand, prompting a black bolt symbol to form on his forehead.
He slowly grasped the sword in both hands and transferred the electricity from the tip of his palm into it, where the black lightning zapped out from the hilt, extending like a hurricane and repeatedly bursting out, even spearing through the floor, while the forest leaves began to float around Elliott with sparks of electrical currents, splitting or vaporizing them.
As Elliott's hair and garments waved, he released a rage-filled breath that instantly turned into electricity that slowly mixed with the rest, forming a sudden wave of black energy that spread from Elliott's feet to the top, quickly forming a sphere at the sword's tip.
"Say goodbye to this world! This is where your life ends!"
"Accept your fate! TAKE IT!"
Elliott's eyes were a fierce blue color, and his mouth was wide open. He leaned forward and lifted the sword, tensing his muscles, veins nearly popping out as his arms shook and fought, and then stabbed forward with a loud wrath cry booming through the trees. As he sent a massive sphere of combined electricity through the air, the sword cut across his chest, forcing him back from the pressure.
The Rumble Ball rushed over the floor, spearing through the ground into a large crater, slicking forward and deforming floor under the sphere's unavoidable speed.
The sphere's white frame flashed in front of Claude's face, terrifying him to the point of shaking his eyes and mouth and screaming a fearful cry. "How do you manage to be that powerful?!"
The gigantic Rumble Ball vaporized through the trees and smashed into Claude, who screamed as he felt high voltage zapping him through his body while being plowed through the woods and watched how the trees blew into pieces, unable to exist again.
The sphere erupted into a giant nothingness in a long distance meter away from Elliott and the others, fully annihilating Claude and slaughtering the green life, before the final thunder slammed into the floor.
To be continued...
