"Chloe?" "Are you alright?"
I slowly opened my eyes to see Matthew and Diane.
"Matthew, are you okay?" "What happened to you when I passed out?"
I got up but laid back down from the dizziness.
"I am sorry that I killed your father." "He didn't want me alive and he also didn't want to be a disgraced Alpha so he chose death."
"I am fine I just got the title of Alpha, that's all and I understand why you had to kill him but we will not tell anyone about this and just let him have his last wish."
"I understand when will the funeral be held?"
"It was held last week."
"What!?" "I was asleep for that long?"
I got up out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I grabbed the sink and I got dizzy again.
"Take it easy Diane said that you lost all of your energy when you fought against my dad." "You do know that you were using your power to kill him."
"I know but damn I can't believe I was out for a whole week but I am so happy that you are Alpha now I know you are going to be a great Alpha."
"Thank you Chloe and you are going to be a great Luna." "We are to hold our wedding on the full moon so that you and I can be announced Alpha and Luna by the moon."
"We are getting married!?" "Really?" "I can't believe it."
I jumped into his embrace. I can feel my wolf's excitement too. I kissed his lips.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"Grumble."
I am embarrassed that he had to hear that.
"Are you hungry?"
I smiled at her shyness and kissed her cheek.
"Let's go get something to eat then."
We walked into the dinning room, everyone having a great time laughing and talking. This is what it's supposed to be like in a family. Everyone looked at us and it was silent.
"Please don't worry about us eating and be happy."
They all smiled and started to talk again.
We walked into the kitchen and grabbed some food. We sat down in our spots.
"Luna it's nice to see that you are back to your healthy self." "We are all so glad that you are okay."
"Thank you all for being so concerned about me." "So what is going to happen when you and I get married?"
"Well we are going to be Alpha and Luna then we will get married by the moon as well."
"What about a family?"
"Shh." "We can talk about that later tonight."
"So when is the next full moon?"
"In a month."
"Sigh." "That's good I thought I would have to hurry and get things ready for the wedding but this will at least give me some time to get things ready."
We ate the rest of our dinner after we walked on the beach sand while the sunset.
"It's so beautiful."
"I thought you would like it."
"There is something I have been wanting to ask you."
"Anything."
"Well I been thinking about what your father said to me so why do you want a slave like me?"
"What the hell?" "Why would you think anything about that?" "Just because you were a slave doesn't make you weak and who cares about who you were I love you for who you are." "Don't ever think like that again." "I love you."
"I understand."
I look at the water as it moves around the ocean. It was so pretty that I spotted something moving in the water.
"Hey Matthew what is that out there?" "Matthew?"
I looked to see Matthew in the hands of someone.
"You better put my mate down before things get ugly."
"Is that a threat or a promise?"
"Both."
"You better watch yourself young lady." "I saw this man first so he is mine."
"Who do you think you are?"
"Oh my apologies my name is Mia and I am the most powerful-est vampire alive."
"Hahaha." "Don't make me laugh." "I can't believe you just said that."
"Chloe what are you doing?"
What is she doing? She is going to get herself killed and I can't help her because this vampire has me tied up.
"Chloe huh well it's nice to meet you but this will be the last time you will ever see Matthew or me ever again."
I looked at Matthew and tears fell down my face.
"I won't let that happen, you are not going to get again with this."
"Oh but I am going to."
I watched her put her mouth on his neck.
"Wait, is it blood that you want?"
"Yes but what are you trying to say?"
"Take me instead please just let him go." "He has a pack family that depends on him." "I can't do it by myself so please take me instead."
"Hmm what makes you think I want your blood?"
I shifted into my wolf form. I can tell she wants me now instead of Matthew.
"You got yourself a deal."
She put Matthew down and he shifted into his wolf.
("What the hell is your plan now?")
("We are going to make a run for it other than that I have nothing.") ("Do you have any ideas?")
("Yes we stand our grounds and fight her.")
("How are we going to do that because she is bloodthirsty?")
He's even crazier than me.
("I have an idea I will distract her and you bite off her head then we will burn her so that she can't come back from the dead.")
("That's a great idea.")
"Howl!"
I walked up to the vampire.
"You are so rare I can't wait to taste your blood." "I have never tasted any kind of rare blood before." "This is going to be good."
"Ahhh."
I shifted into my human form grabbing two rocks and I started her on fire. Matthew walked up behind me and wrapped me in his jacket.
"I know you can't control your shifting but you're going to catch a cold out here."
"Thank you." "Do you think this is going to make us start a war with the Vampires?"
"I hope not but I don't know for sure." "Let's go home for the night."
We started to walk when Chloe just disappeared.
"Chloe?"
She was just right here.
"Are you looking for someone." "Don't worry I wont hurt her not yet anyway." "What happened to my daughter?"
"I am sorry Alpha of the Vampires, we had to kill her." "She was blood thirsty."
"I understand I just wanted to make sure, you see when one of my Vampire members came home and told me that Mia was killed I got mad and wanted to get my hands on the person responsible for the death of her but now that I understand what happened I will leave you both alone."
"I understand what you are saying." "I am sorry for your loss and I don't want this to start a war and kill many of both of our people."
"Yes you are right it is a very good thing we got things talked out before it got out of hand."
"Can I please have my mate back?"
I saw a smile spread across his face.
"I heard this is the rare wolf." "She is very beautiful. I think I might make her my mate and have many offspring with her now." "If you don't mine I will be on my way."
"I do mine, that is my mate she loves me not you."
"Matthew I can handle this."
I looked at the Vampire Alpha.
"You know I am rare but did you know that I have more powers then what you know of?"
I snapped my finger and it threw us both in different directions and went up and I fell to the ground. I got up and walked to Matthew.
"Now if you don't want to die you better leave our land now."
"Not without you."
"You know I am stronger than anything here but yet you still want to try?"
"I also get what I want."
"Well this time you will be going home empty handed bye bye."
I put a force field around us so that he couldn't touch us.
"I will find a way to get you and make you mine even if you don't like you."
I turned to face him.
"I am going to ask you the same thing your daughter asked me: is that a threat or a promise?"
He said nothing.
"I thought so now go home before I decide to kill you."
I felt his hand on me damn I forgot to put the force field around us again he threw me to the ground.
I shifted into my wolf.
"Growl."
How dare he hurt my mate.
"Now little girl you better come with me unless you want your mate to die."
"Please don't hurt him." "I will do as you say but please don't hurt him."
My whole body hurts. I can't even get up off the ground.
"Good now you stay there until we are gone."
"I love you Matthew I am sorry I am in so much pain and I don't want you to die."
My body shifted into its wolf form.
("I promise once I get my strength back I will come home.")
("I promise I will do everything to get you back my love.")
I watched as Chloe disappeared into the night sky.
"Howl!"
My wolf is sad and so am I.
("What's going on?")
("Ben when did you get here?")
("I heard you howl where is Luna?")
("Vampire Alpha has her and he is going to pay that bastard and his kind don't belong on this earth not the way his kind acts.") ("He will regret everything.")
