With a practiced innocent smile on her face, she joins the crowd visiting the various stalls while Ralph and Victor ask questions about joining the different sororities until they end up at the last stall. Astrid approaches the stall with a cherry innocent smile and she stuns the men working the stall with her beauty making them stand at attention as if wanting to impress her.
"You have such an interesting flag. Mind telling me about it?" She asks letting a fake accent be heard though they can't tell the difference.
"Well we mainly focus on sports but our academics are good enough as well." The older of the two men answers while the younger one continues to stare at her.
"Why an eagle?" She asks looking the younger of the two in the eyes.
"Pride, loyalty, and victory." He says composing himself enough to answer.
"But there's a new sorority that's been copying us." The older of the two says his eyes trained on a house further down the street.
"Oh?" Astrid asks but Ralph and Victor don't interrupt letting her take the lead.
"Yes, they've been copying us and causing trouble." He says jaw clenched.
"Are women allowed in your sorority?" She asks and both men nod without hesitation.
"What about them?" She asks pointing at the copycat sorority.
"They allow women for different reasons." The younger guy mutters disgust evident in his voice.
"Rumor says that they practice magic." The older guy says making Victor and Ralph look at each other in confirmation that they are on the right track.
"Thank you for all your help but I gotta get back to work." She says as she looks at them in the eyes she suggests that they forget about her, Ralph, and Victor and not worry about their copiers. Ralph smirks at a confused Victor as Astrid heads in the direction of the suspected kidnappers.
Many people crowd the front of the building and almost all of the members are trying to create order out of the chaos. The trio ends up at the back of the building where all their vehicles are. She sees a separate building that poses as an unused garage with a glamour hiding it from ordinary eyes. Ralph approaches it while Astrid and Victor keep a lookout as his magic flares up removing the glamor from the building to reveal a perfectly new building.
Ralph opens its doors to reveal the same black van used on the night they tried to attack Jemma. All three exchange glances before Ralph replaces the glamour then head back to the front luckily there is still a crowd.
"So how do you guys wanna do this?" Astrid asks them.
"You have no ideas?" Ralph asks her and she giggles.
"I'm not a certified agent and remember I usually work alone. My methods may not line up with yours." She says with a shrug.
"Well, we have to find a way to get in." Victor says stating the obvious as he looks at the slowly thinning crowd.
"You're right but how?" Ralph asks as he looks around. As the trio dives into their thoughts the leader of said sorority notices Victor smirking as they still need a vampire for the ritual then his gaze lands on Astrid and a strong need to own her take overtakes him.
He pushes through the crowd ignoring the girls that try to get his attention and approaches Astrid. He places a hand on her shoulder making her turn around and glare at him.
"Can I help you?" She asks him removing his hand from her shoulder as she glares at him.
"Why yes, you can my lovely lady." He says with a smile making her roll her eyes at him.
"I would like to invite you and your friends to the party Friday night." He says handing the trio VIP invitations.
"And why would we do that?" She asks him with an eyebrow raised.
"It'll be a night to remember." He says in response to her just as Victor tugs her hand to get her attention. She looks at him briefly then lets out a sigh.
"We'll be there." She says making him smile like a Cheshire cat.
"Wonderful. See you there." He says then leaves them alone disappearing in the crowds.
"Well, that's one way to do it." Ralph says and the others nod in agreement then they leave heading back to HQ.
