Princess Elennora Nenadovic was the first daughter of King Gerold and Queen Richenza. She would turn eighteen next week, and at that time, her royal title would officially change from 'Princess' to 'Crown Princess.'
The Princess would become the Crown Princess, and after the King abdicated the throne, the Crown Princess would become the next ruler of Grinia.
That was why the King and Queen asked her to study hard to prepare herself to be a good ruler of Grinia.

That was until she heard the sound of the door being opened from outside. She was sure that her tutor had closed the door earlier, so now that she heard the door being opened again, she knew that someone was about to enter.
She didn't really want to turn her head, but when she recognized the footsteps, she finally turned to the person and got up from her seat. It was because the person who had just entered the study was the King.
Greeting the King politely, the King smiled at his eldest daughter. "The lesson ended earlier than usual," he said, reaching out his hand and stroking the top of his daughter's head. "Did something happen?"
Even though Princess Elennora was apathetic toward others, she still respected the man as her father as well as the King of the kingdom.
"Nothing happened, Your Majesty. The lesson isn't important, so it's better to finish early," answered the Princess as she focused her brown eyes on the blue ones.
The Princess did respect the King, but it did not mean she would speak warmly to the King. On the contrary, the coldness in her voice remained, and some people might think that she was disrespectful towards the King.
But, the King never felt offended by this attitude. He had been with the Princess for many years, and he knew her character very well.
Eighteen years ago when he saw his baby for the first time, he believed that the baby would change with time. And indeed, his baby did change a lot as he predicted.
The baby had grown into a beautiful girl now. The short pink hair had extended down to the chest, and the pair of brown eyes looked even brighter. The baby fat was no more, and instead, her body and face were slender and slim.
The baby's character also changed. She was a cheerful character when she was a child, but she turned serious and a little moody as she grew up.
Some changes were unexpected, but the King never complained about them because the changes were part of his daughter.
"All lessons are important, my dear," the King spoke as he moved his hand so that it caressed his daughter's delicate cheek now. "You will need every lesson so that you can become a good Queen in the future. Next week will be the most important ceremony for you, and you will have more responsibilities on your hands afterward. So, you should take each lesson seriously."
Ignoring the other words spoken by the King, Princess Elennora only focused on one word, and that was 'ceremony.'
The Princess was just thinking about the ceremony before the King entered, and the King suddenly brought up the topic of the ceremony.
Glancing at the window again, she could see that the servants were still busy. She knew that next week's ceremony would be extravagant.
Taking a deep breath, Princess Elennora returned to face the King. There were times when she had a very close relationship with the King, like the ideal relationship of a father and daughter.
