Chapter 30 - Wererats

Her idea was good, and she had executed her plan well. Except that Reese hadn't followed the script.

Reese still had no idea that Keri was also here, separated by just a wall. She only looked at the wererats in front of her, who did not have any strength to stand up, only moving their mouths while chattering in a language she did not understand.

The Universal Galaxy had its own galactic language. Most races used the galactic language, but each race also had its own language. These two wererats were obviously speaking in their own language, so Reese could not understand them, and even Keri on the other side of the wall could not make out their wails either.

Typically, only the stronger races did such things—attacking people, be it for money or for lust. The rat species had excellent reproductive abilities, but they were not very strong in terms of physical strength. They were only slightly stronger than humans, or even weaker than some stronger human males.
