I told him about my financial strategy while we were eating dinner.
This idea is nothing short of a disaster without knowing the complete picture. There's no way around it.
Why would anyone invest in A&B Pharmaceutical instead of Alpha Medications, which is a powerhouse in the pharmaceutical industry? That's especially true when their stock price is rising.
The stock was projected to climb considerably more given Alpha Medications' present performance.
With word spreading that Alpha Medications was on the approach of releasing [Body enhancing potion], a slew of major investment firms have lined up to purchase the company's stock.
The A&B pharmaceutical stocks, on the other hand, are steadily declining.
Who in their right mind would put their money into them? Unless he's a lunatic or someone like me who knows exactly what's going to happen.
"So you're telling me that you want to put your money into Alpha Medications first, and then when the time comes, you want me to sell all of Alpha Medications' stocks and buy A&B Pharmaceutical when their stock prices are low. Is that what you're looking for me to do?"
It wouldn't surprise me if Christopher regarded me as a knucklehead or anything. I have no control over the situation.
"Yes," I said emphatically.
"Hmm. Interesting. It's very intriguing." I noticed a big grin on his face. I believe this is the first time I've seen him smile.
"Sir, you are truly exceptional. I assumed there would be no one who thinks like me, but I was mistaken. This is, without a doubt, an excellent plan. You have my admiration."
"Huh?" That's an unusual response. I wasn't expecting him to say that.
A splendid plan? really, Did he actually believe that?
Does he receive this information from anywhere else? Even if he is still a kid, I should not underestimate his abilities.
"What made you believe this concept was brilliant in the first place?" says the narrator. Now I'm genuinely curious.
What makes him think he knows about this?
"To begin with, everyone is aware that Alpha Medications' stock is on the rise. Knowing that everyone wants to invest in a stock that is increasing in value."
That is correct.
He kept going.
"If everyone is investing in the same stock, there is no need for someone to go to the black market to locate a broker; they can do it themselves. There is no reason for anyone to spend money on a broker, particularly one who operates in a black market."
Yes, he's correct.
When making an investment, one would use a black market broker only if they intended to keep their identity hidden from prying eyes.
This is frequently done to keep the client from being pursued by the Union agent.
However, this is only applicable to criminals or when something suspicious is about to occur and you don't want to draw unwanted attention to yourself.
"Why would anyone want to sell their Alpha Medications stock when it was at its pinnacle and invest in something like A&B pharmaceutical stocks, which are worth less than a piece of paper when that happens? It would be a ludicrous idea."
He then turned to face me. Our gazes collided. On his face began to form a keen smile. I'm smiling as well.
"No one would do that unless he is a fool. I'll dismiss the idea because no sane person would spend 100,000 U on connections with a shoddy brokerage, as you did."
"That leaves the possibility of just one. Something dubious was about to happen, and you wanted to shield yourself from it." He said that with a smile on his face.
He's a monster, man. Because of his age, no one should underestimate his ability. His mind was as sharp as it had always been. It appeals to me.
"Well, your conclusion has impressed me." I'm completely blown away. He was far more impressive than I had anticipated.
"Did you have any knowledge of this, or did you come to this conclusion after hearing my plan?" I'm quite interested.
"While I was on the black market, I received a small amount of this information. However, I got to this conclusion when you were outlining your investment strategy. I'm getting a whiff of the money from your plan."
That's a fantastic achievement. He stated he smells money from my proposal, which I like. If it was his assessment then there is no going back.
"So, sir, how much do you intend to invest?" As he completed his meals, Christopher inquired.
He appeared to be stuffed to the brim.
"But first, there's something important to take care of."
****
I paid 4000 U for the dinner. That is a lot of money.
We then traveled to an interesting location. The most crucial thing left to do is to sign a contract.
Even if I have faith in his ability, I must exercise caution. I'm not sure how things will pan out with him in the future, so it's best to be safe than sorry.
We went to a strange shop that specialized in this sort of thing. Nobody trusts anybody else, especially in the black market. Even I am not trustworthy.
We entered the shop after that.
"How may I assist you, sir?"
"We've come to sign a contract,"
"Splendid. What kind of contract are you looking to sign?"
"Mana contract."
"Then it's 1000 U sir,"
"Here."
I give him the cash.
I swiveled around to face Christopher.
"So you're fine with it, right? I have no faith in anyone. That appears to be your situation. It is in both of our best interests to do so."
He shook his head and nodded.
The contract's specifics were then filled in.
---> The commission fee is 2% of profits and 2% of the investment.
—-> For the next five years, you should work for me.
---> Any transaction-related information should not be shared with anyone.
These are the contract's specifics.
When I showed it to him, he was ecstatic, especially when he saw the sum I indicated. I'm not a harsh person who would take advantage of his predicament and exploit him.
I have no objections to paying him more if he does a good job.
And he'll be under my command for the next five years. That will be an excellent opportunity for me to get to know him better.
The contract was then turned over to the shopkeeper. There is one positive aspect to this. Only the concerned signing parties will be able to see the contract's context. This is quite beneficial.
"So none of the parties in this room are obligated in any way? The contract's context cannot be modified once it has been signed."
We each gave each other a nod of affirmation.
"That's excellent. Both the parties, place your hand on this contract and circulate your mana through it."
We followed his instructions to the letter.
"Yes, flawless. You signed the mana contract with this action. Any breach of the contract's terms will result in a blockage of your mana veins, which will eventually lead to death. Please keep this in mind."
We nodded and left the place.
****
"Here. There are 5 million U in this. Use this to purchase as many Alpha Medications stocks as possible."
He gave a short nod of approval. There's no way he'd steal this money because we signed a contract, so there's no need to be concerned.
"And then there's this." I tossed another bag at him.
"It contains 100,000 U. Make use of this to choose a place to feel at home."
His eyes were about to tear up, but he kept them from falling because he was staring at my irritating face.
Then I exchanged contact information with him and bid him farewell.
There is no reason to be concerned about him because he is an intelligent individual. He will take care of himself.
"Let's see what I can do with my remaining 5 million U."
