After Yao Tang had taken his clothes, she took a small ball out of his pockets.
The ball spun around her palm. Only after a few rounds did the ball rise up to mid-air before plopping back onto her hand.
Yu Chen glanced over at her.
However, before he could say anything, Yao Tang handed him the clothes back once more.
Yu Chen reached out to take it. Once he had gotten it, Yao Tang turned around and raced down the mountains. She didn't even bother to look back.
"You're leaving just like that?" he shouted. "What about my reward?"
She didn't seem to have heard him as she disappeared from his sight.
Although he had longed to break free from her clutches, he couldn't help but feel the smallest sense of... disappointment?
Like he was some sort of child abandoned on the roadside.
Yu Chen immediately dispelled the idea from his mind.
