"Hello."
Bai Jing waved his fan twice as if he was saying hello. "I don't know if you've heard about me, but I would like to formally introduce myself. I'm Bai Jing, and I do advise you to hand it over now, before you regret it."
He emphasized the word "regret".
The smile in his lips didn't reach his eyes.
Some might even compare him to a tiger on the prowl.
The person on the ground trembled. His face paled and he continued to stare at his palms. The mere thought of being confronted by Bai Jing was bad enough, but for him to witness it like this...
"Well, do you want me to help you?" Bai Jing questioned.
"No...I'll take it out."
The man closed his eyes and took the thing out from his bag as if he had already accepted his fate.
There in his palm was a small stone. While it appeared quite grey and ashy on the outside, absolutely nobody minded.
After all, they knew the significance of this stone.
