It took her a good while to realize that Yao Tang wasn't even touching her.
Yao Ran was furious and mortified, but she couldn't bring herself to say anything under Yao Tang's imposing gaze.
Even Uncle Tian and Grandma Xu were helpless to do anything.
"If there is something you want, just say what it is," Uncle Tian called out. "But don't touch Ranran. Our matters have nothing to do with her."
"Something I want?" Yao Tang echoed.
She turned to the man with a small smile. "Didn't I ask you something just now? It doesn't seem like you're willing to give it, though."
Uncle Tian blinked in confusion until he remembered that Yao Tang had indeed asked him something just a while ago.
Ironically enough, her question piqued his curiosity. "You asked me where the pill came from," he said as he peered at her. "Why do you want to know?"
Wasn't the pill useless against her?
What good would it do for her to know its origins?
