The teacher took a deep breath and revealed a smile on her face.
"Yao Tang, you want to improve your Chinese scores, right?"
As soon as Yao Tang saw the soft smile on her teacher's face, she could feel her stomach stirring.
She didn't have a good feeling about this.
"No thanks," she responded. "I'm quite satisfied with my score."
The Language teacher was shocked to silence, unsure of what else to say.
Did she really not like learning Chinese that much?
"Yao Tang, you really shouldn't give up after encountering these kinds of difficulties. Instead, you should try your best to overcome them. Only by overcoming them will you realize how much you've gained."
Yao Tang was silent for a moment. However, just as the teacher had thought that she was able to change her mind, the student said, "Why don't I just change my path instead of trying to overcome them?"
