The entire class broke into peals of laughter as they rolled their eyes at the exchange student. Every single one of them had a smile on their face.
Even the teacher couldn't help but sigh in relief.
As soon as Yan Wei understood the meaning behind Yao Tang's words, she hurriedly stepped outside of their classroom and walked down the corridor.
She held onto the railing and gazed down.
However, a truck was nowhere to be seen.
Yan Wei sighed in relief as she struggled to calm her beating heart. "Well?" she demanded. "Didn't you say that there was a truck? Are you just stalling for more time?"
As soon as she said this, all the students started to crowd by the railing as well.
Even the teacher followed them out. Much to their dismay, Yan Wei was right. The field was empty, and there wasn't a single car passing by them.
The teacher's jaw fell in surprise.
