Angered by her lack of responsiveness, Lu Qing waved his hand to alert his men. "Pull Lu Ming aside and beat him to death," he snapped.
"Let's see how you protect him then."
As soon as the men heard this, they immediately ran toward Yao Tang and Lu Ming. Their eyes were fierce and their hands were clenched. "Watch out, girlie, let's see how you'll do against us," they snarled.
Lu Ming, upon seeing the situation, gritted his teeth.
He struggled to push Yao Tang to the side, staring them down. "They're all coming for me," he murmured. "There's no need for you to stand beside me. Besides, he might hold a grudge against you later. I'll try to look for an opening later. As for you, you should go!"
"An opening?" She hesitated, gazing at the injuries marring his body.
Lu Ming nodded, panting.
