Yao Tang went out to the school gates to pick up a package and carried it back to the dormitory.
Her roommates hadn't returned yet, so the place was relatively quiet.
She opened the package, which contained a set of red clothes. The fabric was made of thin gauze, which was purposely tattered here and there to make it look like it had been kissed by flames. Even so, the whole ensemble was undeniably beautiful and decidedly unique.
As if on cue, her phone beeped. A WeChat message had come in: "How do you like the dress? Are you satisfied with it?"
As soon as she had signed for the parcel, the sender had received a notification telling them that the item had reached its destination. As expected, they immediately contacted her to ask after the dress.
Yao Tang's slender fingers typed a lazy reply: "Yes."
