"That's her?"
The thin man behind Elder Xu narrowed his eyes at the young woman who had just entered the room. He looked her up and down, observing her every move.
"Yao Tang, you're here!"
Elder Xu smiled widely, beckoning her over.
However, just as he was about to stand up, President Tan quickly said, "Elder Xu, you don't have to stand. Please, take a seat. It's an honor to see you again."
The old man slowly nodded, taking his seat. Even then, his eyes were still on Yao Tang.
The thin man snorted coldly. "I may not have encountered a thousand geniuses in my lifetime, but I sure have met a couple hundred," he snapped. "How can this little girl be as good as you say? You're not screwing with us, are you?"
"She looks quite elegant," the other man spoke. He didn't appear to be as blunt as the thin elder.
