BRIANNA'S P. O. V
I have missed a lot with regards to my studies. I studied the pamphlets Mr Craine gave me for a while. My phone started ringing. I smiled when I saw the caller. I quickly connected the call
"Hi Daddy" I said excitedly
"Hi baby girl. How are you" he asked
"I'm good. How are you" I responded and asked
"I'm fine. What are you doing" he asked
"I'm studying one of the pamphlets you gave me. I will be returning to school tomorrow" I said
"Alright dear. I will send a car for you" he said
"Daddy please I can go by taking a cab" I said
"You told me you want to return to work so I am sending the car so that your transportation will be made easier" he said
"Daddy I still have two months to complete my secretarial course. I will only return to work after I am done with the course" I said
"Baby girl please let me do this for you. I want you to be safe. I am still waiting for a report from my team regarding the girls who attacked you til then please allow me to do everything to ensure your safety" he said
I was teary eyes when he said this. For the first time I have found a man who always wants to protect me.
"Alright daddy" I said
"Don't cry" he said
"Oh my God how did you know that" I asked
"Baby I am your man. It is my duty and responsibility to know when you are sad, happy and every mood of yours" he said
"Thank you Daddy. Now I know I made the right decision to be with you" I said
We chatted for a while and he helped me with my studies.
I woke up early the next morning
"Oh my goodness I slept off while talking to Mr Craine again. He is right I am a fool" I said to myself angrily
My phone beeped. It was a message from Mr Craine
"Hi baby girl. How was your night? Please don't punish yourself for sleeping off while talking to me. ( I gasped) The car will be there soon so get ready. I love you. MAC" I read
"Hi Daddy my night was amazing. Sorry I slept off. I will be ready by the time the car arrives. I love you so much" I replied
I quickly got ready and went down stairs. I greeted mum. I sat down to have breakfast
" Anna you look very happy today. It's been a while since I saw you like this" my mum said
"Mum this is because of Mr Craine" I said happily
"Anna please be careful dear" she said
"Mum please don't worry. Mr Craine will never let anything happen to me" I said
"Alright dear" she said
We ate quietly. We heard a knock on the door.
"Oh my car is here. Let me get my books and things" I said
"A car? What car" mum asked
"Mum Mr Craine has sent a car for me. I will be using a car now" I said excitedly
The person knocked again. I went to open the door.
"Good morning Miss Bennett. Please I will be your personal chauffeur and please Mr Craine asked me to give you this" the man said
I smiled and took a bouquet of flowers from him.
There was a card inside. I took it and read it
"I love you baby girl" I read
"Please give me some minutes. I will get my books and things" I said
I quickly went to my room and took everything I need. I sent a text message to Mr Craine
"Thank you for the flowers Daddy. I love you too"
I arrived at school soon and I started attending lectures. There was a female bodyguard to protect me.
MICHAEL'S P. O. V
I was having breakfast when I received a message from Brianna
"Thank you for the flowers Daddy. I love you too"
I smiled while glancing at my phone.
"Dad why are you smiling so much" Ivana asked
"I am happy" I said with a smile
"Please share your happiness with us" Andrew said
"Andrew when are you moving out of my house? The workers and the designers renovating your house are done" I said
"Dad I think I should keep staying here. This house is very big and you are growing old soon you will need someone to take care of you and your Empire" Andrew said
"Damn it I can't believe he is really after my wealth" I said to myself
"Andrew don't worry about me. Just concentrate on your life and company" I said
I got up and was about to walk out when Andrew called me
"Dad are throwing me out because of Miss Bennett? Are you asking me to leave because you want to start bringing her here" he asked
I smiled
"Once again Andy. Concentrate on your life and let me concentrate on mine. Andrew let me warn you don't mess up with Brianna. Remember I don't need your permission to bring her here" I said
I left for work.
BRIANNA'S P. O. V
It's been days since I returned to school I called Mr Craine every chance I get. We text each other a lot. People keep staring at me whenever I pass by and I think it's because of my bodyguard.
For some reason the lectures and staffs have started treating me with so much respect.
"Could it be that Mr Craine has something to do with it" I asked myself
I closed from my last lecture for the day. I was on my way to the hostel.
"Brianna"
I heard someone calling me. I turned to the direction of where I heard the voice. It was Max
"Hi Max" I said
"Hi babe" he said
"Max don't call me babe. It's inappropriate" I said
He chuckled
"When did me calling you babe became inappropriate" he asked
"It became inappropriate when your girlfriend and her gang tried to hurt me. It became inappropriate when I fell in love" I said
"What are you saying? I have already told you that I don't know anything about those girls. I am very happy to know that you have fallen in love with me" he said happily
This guy is a fool. What makes him think I have fallen in love with him. I have to gather courage and tell him
"Max I don't mean you. (He frowned) I have fallen in love with another man" I said with a smile
The mere thought of Mr Craine brings smile to my face
"What? After everything you are breaking up with me. I won't allow this" he said
He tried to get closer to me. I stepped back and my bodyguard stopped him
"Please sir step back" she said
"Max please don't make it difficult" I said
I walked away.
