Slowly the hands of time move,
Yet fast the day runs.
A phenomenon I can't explain,
Will it last forever? I wondered.
Being intrigued with the wonders of nature,
Did a whole lot cross my mind?
Yes! It did, and I asked, between love, hate
And a true friend which is hard to find?
Still, in the sands of time, I realized
Hard work begets success,
The exhilaration that comes thereafter
My mouth could not tell.
I lingered, observed and I hearkened for a while.
While the bird's squeaks,
It's indeed a mellifluous song they sang
With more beauty added to life.
I looked at the Horizon, to the west,
I knew its already a day well spent.
The sea breeze I felt,
Was a sign of mother Earth being alive
And not dead.

Jason! Jason! at this moment I could hear my name from afar, but I was still clasped to my imagination.
Emily left the room angry though very worried.
Just exactly 1700 hours I heard myself screaming out loud for no reason.
what could this be I thought. But from where I sat, I could see my sister staring at me. Jason, what is the problem? I looked at her again not giving her an answer to the caring question she asked, Hey Emily how are you? were you with me earlier this morning? I asked. Of course, I was, but you were so carried away with your thoughts. Are you aware you've been starving yourself for hours? what is the problem?
well never mind but we are going to the park she said, you can come along if you don't mind. But I haven't eaten unless you have plans of getting me something edible out there, don't worry kiddo you are covered.
At the park, I saw my greatest fear, Beverly.
Beverly was my best friend though at some point we started having feelings for each other. whenever she is around me, there is a different vibe completely, she could see directly through my heart and tell if I'm okay or not. But life had a different plan for us. It got to a point where we realised that allowing erotic feelings come between us was the biggest mistake of our life. Be that as it may, we never relented, we kept on pushing until it wasn't working. Making the going our separate ways decision was another battle we had to conquer, But then, it is hightime we pathed ways.
But seeing her at the park i remembered William Shakespeare " love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind and therefore there is winged cupid painted blind " she mustn't see me I said to myself. Emily touched me trying to get my attention hey bud she's here, I know but she mustn't see me. immediately I had to go to the pool side although, I have phobia for water.
The day was getting older and we had to leave, much work is meant to be done. Karrisa has some assignments too. But leaving was a problem as Beverley was eager to see me I know too well that if we conversed i won't be able to sleep at night. at his point I had to show false happiness. Now, this was one thing mother nature never thought me, its obvious that am learning the hard way already. Emily on the other hand went to get me some snacks and the kinda pies I take mustn't contain Fat.
