It is why Kelly took it as her advantage and so she was stepping backwards, eyes fixed directly at Rayzel at the moment without looking back…making sure Rayzel wouldn't notice her.
Scott then immediately stopped taking a step towards Rayzel's direction when he noticed what Kelly was doing. And Kelly seemed to not notice him behind her as she continued on taking a step backwards very carefully…and even Rayzel as she was still preoccupied so she failed to notice him when he arrived.
Scott grinned devilishly and took his gun from his inner pocket and pointed it behind Kelly…His movement was so light that it didn't create even the slightest sound.
He waited for Kelly to finally be near his direction as he knew she would turn around when she thought that she was far away from Rayzel…Scott wanted to surprise Kelly with the gun that was pointing on her.
