And because of her loud voice, Scott suddenly opened his eyes without a second thought and glared into Rayzel as if he was making her shut up through his glare.
When she realized what she had done, she immediately bit her lower lips and looked into Scott apologetically. She absolutely forgot about Mang Jose in the driver's seat.
He then groaned softly as a sign of his dislike and he returned to closing his eyes while Mang Jose's eyes went back to the road and she even heard him clear his throat after that.
"Am I right, Scott? The pieces of Cleopatra's heart…" she spoke again and paused to make room for Scott's answer. This time she made sure her voice was low, and it was already a whisper.
However, Scott did not say a word nor open his eyes at least so Rayzel could confirm if she is right or not…And she tried to stare at him long enough, until he realized that she's been staring at his face the whole time.
