"My sister's death? What do you mean? What is this?" She asked one after another as she took the envelope from his hand.
"Open it and see what's inside." He commanded.
Rayzel turned her head backwards only to see the table laying behind her. She didn't notice it until then. Maybe it was from being too caught up with what's on his wall and the other interesting things in this place.
Scott was staring at her intently as she opened the envelope little by little…with so much anticipation.
He moved to her side and sat at the edge of the table while Rayzel moved away to give space for Scott as he observed her reaction deeply.
She hesitantly tried to peek out of the envelope first, hoping she would be able to see what's inside. She couldn't seem to understand why her heart suddenly started to drum in her chest.
