Training Center was a building open for the public so certainly, it was located outside the academy. The place was a bit far thus once Arawinda filled her absence, she rent a public bicycle and bike leisurely to the location since it was still early in the morning.
The morning scene in the base, unlike in the city, was rather peaceful and relaxed especially with the well-taken care big trees lined along the way neatly. There aren't any sounds of noisy vehicles, as vehicles were rare and only used by the guards. Hence, people would either walk or rent a public bicycle like her.
Many people also began their work, so the road was nearly full of bustling people, jostling together. Seeing this picture, Arawinda abruptly thought of her old life. She once was in that sort of situation yet now she went back into a teenager where she shouldn't have many burdens on her shoulder, and still be able to be carefree.
Although it wasn't perfect, Arawinda felt delighted with her new life, to the point she would fly high if she had a pair of wings on her back. Crossing out her problems, the live-in this life was pretty much easier.
According to the books she read in the library and memories in her head, money in here was actually points of contribution. The more one supports the growth of the base, the more one would get contribution points, and that's almost related to all works in the base. The most simple way to get a bunch of contribution points was by donating their ability. For example in the food industry, if the ability transformed water into ice they could donate the ice to the workplace in need of ice, or have a plant nurturing ability they could nurture vegetables and fruits with it.
As for her not having the ability at all, her brother shared his contribution points, money, with her willingly. And right before her brother left, he handed all of his wealth to her. Thus, she was now an unexpectedly young rich girl in hiding and no one knows about it except the managing contributor. It was her real reason for saying her life was easier, as she won't have to worry about money at all...
After twenty minutes of bicycling, Arawinda finally arrived at the outskirts of the base, to be precise, the base Wall#1, the boundary area between the base and the wilderness filled with limited low-level zombies. There was also Wall#2 to Wall#5, and based on the area, the zombies available would get richer and stronger.
Reaching the building of Training Center Wall#1, Arawinda watched the unimaginable busy crowded inside, could only gape her mouth in helpless shock, for she never thought of this possibility... Forgetting that Training Center#1 was almost filled every day by visitors who were planning to train their newly awakened ability or ones with secondary ability.
"Ugh..." Arawinda sat motionlessly on her bike and groaned while lifting her head toward the blue sky resigning to her fate.
Albeit its name was Training Center, it actually only provided safety measure services for ones wishing to train on the base boundary areas. She intended to get nearer to the zombie, wanting to take a closer look at it as Danastri too never seen the real one, then asked the best way to kill them without using ability at all, yet the training center seems full. Probably they would only rent her a shield and a weapon and let her go on her own to go inside Wall#1.
Should she risk herself and do it on her own? They should provide her with a shield anyway. Though she only learned a bit of boxing from her ex-boyfriend in the past, she never even used it on a person. ...Should she fight the zombie with her chicken boxing skill then???
"Princess!!"
Arawinda turned to look in the direction of the familiar lively voice and found the trio wretched cannon fodder and surprisingly without the male protagonist, who seems to have finished their punishment. Right, their punishment last for ten days, and if she remembered it correctly then today should be the last day.
Sun received her ignorant gaze and habitually teleport to her side, not aware of her surprise at all, "Hey, princess. What are you doing here alone?" He then glanced at the crowded Training Center before staring back at her with weird eyes.
"... Do you actually want to enter Wall#1? Alone??"
Arawinda felt his question was patronizing her, she felt offended by it, couldn't help but opposingly glared at this shabby magician, and asked with an imposing tone, "What? I can't, huh?"
"Woah-Woah-Woah! That's not what I mean~" Sun raised both his arms in surrender, feeling a bit amused at this spoiled girl.
Almost the whole base recognized her as a useless golden girl without the ability, being totally spoiled by her brother, the future captain of a unite from unites Wall#5. Whilst this girl was well-known, actually, even with her brother's protection, everyone was condescending to her, disrespectful, and also boldly scorning her. Except when she was with Bhahran, he rarely noticed her as she never attend any classes, even more, never to meet her outside the Academy. Yet now... he actually met her outside, and in front of Training Center?! She must be sleepwalking!!
"What's wrong?" Arthur asked curiously after seeing his friend's surrender posture and the princess's resentful eyes before shifting his eyes at the training center, "Planning to try?"
Sun shook his head and clicked his tongue in disbelief, "She seems to want to try it alone."
Behind his glasses, Adam observed her silently and knew that this girl certainly didn't care about Bhahran anymore. Normally when she met them, she would ask about Bhahran but now… She might be struck by something then aware that she was just wasting her time with him and become a bit more sensible.
"Do you want to try entering Wall#1?"
Arawinda twitched her mouth after hearing the same question three times, feeling speechless at their wonderful togetherness. Were they a triplet with connected hearts or something??
She smugly glanced at the three of them one by one, "What do you want? My necklace?"
Sun slapped his tight agitatedly, realizing the deal they made days ago, "Ah! You're right! I almost forget! Tch, blame Trainer Nehan for being so fussy..."
This time, it was Arthur's turn to slap, slapping his mischievous friend's head to reprimand him, "As if you dare to talk like that in front of him!"
"Geez! It's our opportunity to voice out our protests when he isn't around!" Sun rubbed his aching head as he fixed his headband, but instead of getting furious at his slap, he persuaded him more.
"Don't be stupid. What's called protesting is, you're doing it right in front of him." Adam glanced at him like watching a monkey before shifting his gaze back to the girl in front of them. As a gentleman, there was no way he won't ask, "The training center seems full, do you want to go alone?"
"Yes." As soon as Arawinda said that, she stepped on the pedal of a bicycle, began to scan for an empty area of the parking slots.
Despite the fact that she wished to have a good relationship with them, it's not like it would happen in one day. Especially with her proud attitude, and added with the way how they usually view her as a spoiled girl, it should take time, step by step.
"Hey-hey! Here's is empty!"
Such a boisterous voice, Arawinda could only turn her head to avoid embarrassment being watched by strangers, pretending she didn't know this monkey magician. But his monkey howl sounded continuous that she was incapable to endure it anymore. She glanced irritatingly at the other two to signal them to shut his mouth, only finding they also act as if he wasn't their friend...
In the end, she parked her bike quietly at the area he pointed, to shut him up.
....
Squatting down on the ground, Sun yang out wild grass in front of him in boredom, as his eyes follow a small and slender figure running back and forth. Sometimes that figure would jump up and squat down, or twisted her body here and there, leaving him who watched her feel fatigued...
"Sigh... What is she doing? She has been doing it for almost twenty minutes..."
"That's called warming up."
Adam answered casually as he waved his hands playing with his chain, taking advantage of his free time to smooth his control over his chains.
"Sigh... Won't she get tired?"
"Then she just needs to rest."
This time, it was Arthur, walking around while activating his ability, leaving traces of ice on his footprints. However, if one looks closely, one would find that the traces of ice was picturing an image of a rose.
"Sigh!" Sun scratched his head roughly and sat on the ground with a sullen face, grudgingly continuing to watch the energetic figure.
Unknown to them that Arawinda was stimulated by them, who was always showing their ability, making her on fire and determined to reform this weakling physique. After days of envious watching those magicians, she finally accepts the fact that she might incapable of using her core for a lifetime. Rather than holding a grudge against those magicians, it would be better to train herself and her chicken boxing skill than advance into a melee fighter. After all, in games in her old life, the job wasn't just a magician.
Regardless, the first thing she must do was to level up her stamina. If in the past she could even jog for a full hour then this physique... Sigh, even chickens run better than her...
Arawinda tried to see where this physique be able to hold on to such a simple workout then stopped once she felt she was about to collapse. She staggering walked to the tree near her and lean against its trunk as she control her messy breath and wiped her sweat on her forehead.
If she knew that she would exercise here then she should wear workout clothing. Working out with the academy uniform was so uncomfortable, especially she wore a cape and it couldn't be taken off. If she was in her old world, then she would be mocked. Yet in this world, even one wearing a suit then rolling around in the mud, no one seems to care as they were also busy with their things.
Noticing the morning sun began to boil, Arawinda chose to go back to the Academy. She walked toward the three as she took off her necklace, throw it right to Sun who was tossing around on the ground weirdly.
Sun sensed something was coming at him and vigilantly avoid to the side, only noticed a golden necklace was on lay on the ground pitifully, "That surprises me! I almost think it's a zombie!"
He then picked up the necklace even blow the dust on it, before putting it in his pocket carefully, as if it was a delicate thing, leaving the others speechless at his profuse act.
Adam dispelled his chains and took off his glasses to clean them, "Are you planning to come here again?"
"Yeah. Every day, by the way. I'll go by myself." Arawinda answered casually as she fanned herself to brush away the heat.
Arthur frowned a bit, saying in concern, "Are you sure? The training center of this wall is always full of visitors, so they might be too busy paying attention to them one by one. Even it's only Wall#1, it's still dangerous for you."
Arawinda waved her hand and pointed at the building tens of meters away on her left, "It's all fine. I'll simply work out in this area. It's right behind the training center, have you forgotten?"
"That's right, ah! Look! There are so many people around! It's not like she can't scream if she's chased by a zombie~"
Sun hurried persuaded them for fear they would offer themselves to be her bodyguard. Generally, he didn't mind at all but... He was simply too exhausted doing nothing but watch silently like a statue!! It wasn't fun at all!
Arawinda moved her feet to stomp at his feet, feeling a bit annoyed, "Are you cursing me, hm?"
"Ayaa! No-no! I'm just casually saying! Yes-yes! Just an analogy!" Sun abruptly teleport a meter away from her, keeping a safe distance, "If you want us to accompany you, why won't we go straight to Wall#3? That will be more fun!"
Arthur and Adam were tongue-tied by his brainless head. They were even incapable of killing the zombies without Trainer Nehan's assistance previously, he even planned to bring a weak and useless girl to go there? To play??
"Thanks but no thanks," Arawinda then looked at them, especially on Sun, solemnly, "Now that you mention it, I remember. Before he go, my brother found an area of high-level zombies there but probably because he was occupied by my affairs, he forgot to report it. Why don't you report it to Trainer Nehan?"
Their face sank hearing it. The great thing was they didn't sneakily enter too deep when they were in Wall#3 without Trainer Nehan before.
"There isn't any news about it," Adam frowned lightly, "But since it's found by Senior Harja, we really should report it."
Arawinda hummed before walking toward the training center, intending to leave, "By the way, send back my necklace tomorrow."
"Okay."
This time, Sun's voice wasn't as enthusiastic as before.
It could be seen that this situation was rather problematic. Arawinda indeed planned to tell Trainer Nehan about this matter, but since she could hand it over to them, why not? It could save her one more trouble. And, it's also her thanks for them as they had helped her twice. She really hoped her interference of their destiny could succeed and they could live longer than in the story.
